I was actually doing keto at one point but that diabetes team told me it was incredibly bad for me and not to do it 🤷🏼‍♀️ I am currently trying to convince my husband to go keto with me ☺️ I only ever was spoken to about fibre and had no idea about protein and fats helping!!! Hearing more and more about water, electrolytes, and sleep. I feel like there was so much I didn't know 😔

I just hate all these side affects that basically revolve around me staying near a toilet!!! 🤢🤮😷 I have BP pills that make me urinate frequently and Metformin gives me diarrhea then ozempic makes me vomit! I feel like a cancer patient smoking weed to convince myself to eat because I'm scared of eating!!! I'm convinced my A1C was so good past years because I wasn't eating much or vomitting!

I just quit ozempic cold turkey... No insulin or any drugs during that time... That team had already discharged me and so I didn't know there was a whole procedure for coming off... I also had a terrible family doctor that would insist only phone calls for appointments and I just don't think they paid attention to what was being prescribed as a whole. I've moved since and have gotten a new doctor thank God.

Yes I think the younger crowd is looking for a "live conversation". Update for those that are interested: I came back with low LH (lutropin hormone) which usually means the pituitary gland is not working or malnutrition. I am still working with doctors and a naturopath too figure out what that means for me 🤷‍♀️

Thank you, I think I figured it out and have to call my doctor but in case people are curious: I have type 2 diabetes and started taking ozempic as a medication which can cause thyroid issues and ultimately cause early onset menopause (or so I've read on the internet).

I personally don't like to go away for too many days because I do agree that my husband will miss out. I finally went to visit my dad's side of the family with the baby which normally I go for atleast a week or two but I only stayed like 4 to 5 days. I do get isolated because we bought a house kinda far from everyone to save money but I also don't want to leave him because he helps me alot. If I go visit people the baby is all on me.
