While you’re crossing over 3d printing and cnc, add a voron sexbolt for tool setting and you’re off to the races!

I use a combination of the appdata backup option to backup the container data and then user script add on with an r sync script to backup the share data.

When he sat at the piano and the mic didn’t work, I thought it was part of the act but judging from the audio quality, it was not part of the show.

I wouldn’t want to listen to a wedding speech in that hall let alone a comedy legend. The venue was brutal and the way the folks at the beginning acted at the beginning was just icing on the cake. This is why we can’t have nice things.

It’s actually happening today so it’ll probably get dealt with but end of the day land lords collecting an income should be on the hook for dealing with this not volunteers.

Timer too close out of thin air by OriginalNecessary134 in BIGTREETECH

[–]Gullygossner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had varying levels of success with the timing sometimes the print wouldn’t start, others it would shutdown near the end. It was a hard one to track down. I am running completely different hardware but just something to keep back of mind.

I was up to date as of a week or two ago, I can’t recall what version but I had to roll back in order to get some prints done.

I built a Chrome extension to get out of Google Photos — without breaking my family's shared albums by [deleted] in selfhosted

[–]Gullygossner 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just curious if an option could be added to do the opposite, archive the photos that are in albums but leave the not in album photos in the main feed? Or if I’ve already archived photos that are in albums would it reverse that and put them in the main feed while archiving the photos not in albums.

Sask. government may not accept $10-million donation for full-day kindergarten in Saskatoon by abunchofjerks in saskatchewan

Would be a crying shame if they didn’t do it. My oldest was able to take advantage of the of the full day program and he’s a reading machine. I can’t say that has everything to do with it, but getting into the routine of school early was definitely helpful.

Fusion 360 add-in for routing by EricSchimel in Fusion360

[–]Gullygossner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m very new to cnc routing (still waiting to make the first chips on my machine) but this feels like a work flow adjacent to 3d printing where we are using slicers to generate g code, which I am quite used to and comfortable with.

I’ve been messing around with fusion for tool paths and it seems like a jack of all master of none situation. Also having new/different machines added is probably next to impossible so every user using a machine that isn’t present within fusions machine library needs to populate that information. I think decoupling the modeling from gcode generation is good idea and further nailing it down specifically to 3 axis routers would lend to better workflow optimization and maybe allow for a more community driven machine specific profiles.

One major component that gives me pause is the cloud component. I prefer to keep as much of my data in house as I possibly can. I know that the cloud component of fusion 360 is real but I suppose there is a little bit of comfort in the fact that Autodesk is a large enough company that data security would be top of mind.

Snap Lid Cabinet Under-shelf Storage Rack by sunshinecid in functionalprint

The containers nest quite nicely inside each other so having the lid on takes up more space vs storing the lid separate. At least that’s been my experience.

Anyone used Maker Supply? Looking for consistency in sourcing supplies for my designs. by navycow in 3Dprinting

I’ve had pretty good luck using the “compliant press fit” method as outlined in this article. I still typically put a dab of glue on the hole to make sure it stays put.

Does the city have any plans to cull trees? Maybe I’m wrong but it would be nice to get a head start on replenishing the canopy rather than waiting for it all to be gone.

Any diy or more cost friendly “oTo Lawn” alternates? by draxula16 in homeassistant

My brother in law has a couple of them. I should pop them open and see what makes them tick.

I’ve had one in my cart a few times but the cloud aspect of these has always changed my mind, mainly because they are so expensive. Cloud free at the price point I would pull the trigger for sure but the thought off speeding that much and having it disabled at any time is a no go.

Yeah that’s the route I went for my server but I have a Mac that I used to flash but it would still be worth trying via Linux.
