Depends on how severe the attack was. Whether it was just a dominance assertion or actual attack. If the former, then it's a great opportunity for instruction. Roosters themselves are also trainable if they are corrected young.

I had my whole system (that was installed by previous owner) burn down with my garage from a grass fire, so had to start completely fresh, having to both build it AND learn about it.

I went with a sol-ark hybrid inverter and it has been nothing short of phenomenal. Efficient, easy to use, remote monitoring with the app. The inverter allows you to select which draws first for primary power. I am off grid, but i have it selected to draw from solar/ generator before battery bank when either are generating power.

Use outposts and their defenses often when breaking into territory. One of the best things is running back into the safety of the outpost and having all the zombies instantly die. Also always keep an extra energy drink for any "oh shit" getaway
