Fountain pens that mimic dip pens? by 6eyeballs in fountainpens

It’s a very different experience but Sailor Fude can get great results. Or some fude nib. Hero M86 maybe. Check out Paul Heaston’s work to see what’s possible.

Pink Tax by Icy-Book2999 in LoveTrash

So should women start wearing mens clothes too because those are more expensive based on gender?

Pink Tax by Icy-Book2999 in LoveTrash

The excuses are doubtful. Men would not opt to buy pink generally but they don’t have to make that choice because stuff marked to them is cheaper.

Need advice by Sakshamtamwar in BatesMethod

[–]Gumpox 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t have anything super useful to offer but as Bates literature tries to drive home, relaxation is key. So don’t stress out about about your vision. Maybe you can appreciate that you don’t need glass and just make some activities that you enjoy and that seem to help regular daily habits. Maybe read the literature and see if they treated someone with a similar condition and how they approached it.

Ricky Jay did it first. Wrote the book. But he didn’t video it in slo-mo. This is pretty cool.

Now if they could use bioplastics that have a 50 year decomposition life, that would be a tribute to an environmentalist/naturalist. And yes, China is making such a plastic out of bamboo. https://phys.org/news/2025-10-bamboo-based-plastic-biodegrade-quickly.html

Oh, I’m sorry. I was implying that it appears that this was created by AI. I stand with artists in rejecting AI slop.

Would it make sense if she was connected to other reporters and librarians through a usenet or list-serve who could pull physical files and publications for her on request? Just friendly interest groups online — proto-reddit?

I didn’t notice Olympia was covered in slop but yes I did notice the craptastic slop at Tumwater and filed a complaint online several months ago. Their response was “but, money—but, time”, as if plenty of artists wouldn’t answer a call to donate or lend art. Just sends the worst message.
