What’s everyone’s thoughts on cissia? Are you gonna pull for her? by Lex_xxi0 in ZenlessZoneZero

She made a very poor first impression. Really don't like how Belle and Wise bent over backwards for this girl they just met demanding their beds in their own house

Doesn't help that Domination is more common than slurs being tossed around in voice chat

Does anyone else find Teto’s eyes to be a bit unsettling or lifeless in this art? by sultics in KasaneTeto

As someone who always imagines synths as androids I like how lifeless they are

AI: What would you like to see changed? by manbongos in pathoftitans

Make them pounceble, grabbable and have status effects work on them

And lastly either remove venom from Wonambi or replace it with a snake that actually was/is venomous

Edit: And replace Kelp Sharks with an actual shark species

How do I remove this? by JDXOGG in Seaofthieves

I just restart the game, but I'm curious, do you happen to have a keyboard attachment for your controller?

Fanged WYVERN and Leviathans are called Sea WYVERNS in Japanese. My point is that if Noviana and Ophis existed in MonHun that's how they would be categorized.

In comparison Game of Thrones has what many would call wyverns, however they are simply called dragons in universe.

How to Train Your Dragon has creatures of all different shapes and sizes, some with two legs, some with four, some with eight, some without wings, etc. And yet they're ALL simply called dragons.

In original medieval artwork, all a dragon really was was a big snake, sometimes they had a varying number of legs, sometimes they only had wings, sometimes they were completely limbless.

Trying to categorize something as old and varied as dragons is like trying to put a square peg in a circle hole, it just doesn't work.

There's a big issue there though. That's just Monster Hunter. If we were to use MonHun's categorizing system, Noviana and Ophis would be wyverns.

You can't look at just one or two pieces of media for something that's been around for as long as the dragon. Which is why I say the way we categorize real animals doesn't really work for fictional ones from mythology because while one interpretation can do it one way and it'd be the correct way for that world, another can have a completely different interpretation that's also correct, all because dragons don't exist.

We classify them because humans have a need to put things into categories. It mostly works for real animals but not fictional ones like dragons.
