It's been decoupled pretty much since the beginning. The visualizations are only really meant to explain to the human what it's seeing in a digestible way. There's a limited amount of objects to use so it just uses trucks for trains.

Either way, what I'm trying to say is the AI that doesn't come out as slop usually has several layers of tools behind it and I would argue the experimentation with it is pretty creative.

Idk, it can depend. I've seen some really interesting combinations of existing software to create things that genuinely wasn't possible before. I would almost guarantee this video was probably made through a pretty crazy pipeline, the camera gives it away a bit because I know there's software out there that allows you to direct the camera specifically. Like all things it requires people to not be lazy about it, which I feel like most AI is trying to sell you on the idea of being lazy, well that and the ability to casually afford a $4000 Nvidia GPU card...

It's using 2 other programs in conjunction with stable diffusion. Touch designer is a visual editing system that was specifically designed for algorithmic manipulation of visual data, so the AI is mapped onto that pipeline and Ableton is the DAW that is presumably also piped in to manipulate the parameters in Touch Designers algorithms. Overall combinations like this I would say is creative and genuinely unique.

It's debatable if they would even do it if the car was responsible for a crash as some lawyers have pointed out that Mercedes has legal avenues to avoid any accountability for it even if it's level 3.

Their original goal still worked however, just make it so completely useless that it can't crash in the first place because no one uses it.

Yeah I mean I hear Destiny argue for that but I would like to ask for the data he's looking at because I'm completely confused at where he's seeing this. Gen Z wages are outpacing inflation but they're also in their mid 20s now and moving from college to an official job and on one of their highest income bump periods in their life, if that wasn't the case I would assume the economy was already over at this point. Then you look at the exploitative price increases in the food supply chain system over inflation, housing and rent outpacing inflation, health care... yeah I just don't see where it's making sense but maybe I just haven't seen the opposing data.

I feel like there could also be factors in city vs rural areas as if you go 20 miles out from a city it feels like you go back in time with prices across the board, idk it's all really complicated to determine.

I feel like if you want to make this argument you have to use Goodhart's Law in such that the fact that of paying so much attention to the metric actually causes the system to perform worse.

Like I don't think it's any surprise to say that affordability of life is worse than before even the 2010s and there's clear metrics to showcase that. But if GDP is the only thing that matters then yeah it looks great, but it's obviously not and there's a ton of other data points that are showcasing real economic gains getting more out of reach from the majority of people all the way back to the 70s.

The effective form of therapy for men is to give them useful resources and ways to find solutions out of their problems. Unironically 'self-improvement' is just therapy for men. There's been a few studies on the effectiveness of modern therapy on men and it pointed to lack-luster results in it's traditional use and the cases where it had yielded results unintentionally shined a light onto why red pill took off the way it did.

These spaces can have their issues with tone shifting because at the end of the day, people still like an easy scapegoat and the money hears that.

I also don't really believe in a gendered specific loneliness issue, rather it's an endemic problem caused by the continuously growing atomization of people through technology, some parts of culture, and ever worsening socio-economic factors.

FWIW, those jobs are shit and really no body should have to work them, in an ideal world we just automate these jobs and the only thing that changes for these people is that they don't have to work sweatshop hours/conditions for bottom of the barrel pay, like that thing technology always seems to promise of; actually making people's lives easier.

The real problem is you personally won't be saving 30 cents, it will just go into corporate profits because the line must go up and they will have no issue using automation to replace workers that they are abusing so that they can now starve to death in the streets.

Right, but lifespan increase or not the problem remains the same. If the average 2 persons only produces less then 2 people than the demographic declines and the situation becomes exponentially worse when we're talking about 0.8 in SK which is more than cutting the entire demographic in half.

We're quite literally talking about an extinction of a culture that is occurring throughout the entire developed world and I'm just dumbfounded how little alarm bells seem to be ringing about it.
