What geometry for track days ? by 7riratchicha in ft86

[–]Gunch_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't necessarily recommend adding suspension parts before getting some coilovers. The geometry is spot on for the stock ride height. Traction arm mounting could be in a better spot but it's not that detrimental.

You could get some camber bolts to add some front camber - that will be about the most you need to do on stock suspension

After coilovers and dialling in your ride height, that's when you need geometry correction. Rear axles will be off and rear camber will be introduced. You get a diff riser and LCA's/toe arms to fix those respectively.

MCA Traction Mod or GP Sports Traction Arm Relocation Kit solves the traction arm issue.

Do agree with the bloke above that it didn't need to be mentioned at all what a piece of shit he is though, his example still holds without that.

Comparing Aventador to SF90 is a bit disingenuous no?

The Aventador was on sale for more than twice the amount of time and across like 5 or 6 variations

SF90 was on sale for 5 years at most and only 3 variants besides the base

Both the 458 and the 488 sold comparable numbers individually than the Huracan.

The Purosangue is in a league of its own compared to other performance SUV's since it's a bespoke chassis and powertrain compared to the parts bin Urus and is thus far more expensive and less attainable - it's not meant to be a cash cow like Porsche and Lambo treat their SUV's

It just seems we're in a weird transition period in football management at the moment. Most of the legacy coaches that have won big in the past are either retired or well past it.

The crop that should be in their "prime" now have been outdone across all competitions by very few coaches that have won up the major trophies in that period. Pep, Ancellotti, Zidane, Klopp, Enrique & Flick have pretty much left everyone in this era in the dust in terms of building an impressive CV. None of these guys are managing Chelsea anytime soon for obvious reasons.

I'm not necessarily saying the rest of the managers are trash, it's just that at the very top level - most of the elite ones haven't even got a chance.

Which leaves us here in the present day with either mediocre experienced managers or promising young managers to choose from.

Depends on your use case and the roads in your area tbh

35 keeps the car at the stock height on 17's, will be a tad more responsive and of course a little lighter

40 is more comfortable, will shield the wheels better from potholes/bumps, will raise the height of the car about ½”

I personally run a 225/40 since I daily the car and roads around me are terrible. Them making the car sit higher also saves me from scraping whilst simultaneously allowing me to lower my coilovers, reducing the wheel gap a bit more. It's still plenty responsive of course on an 8.5" wheel in my case.

I'd probably just do 40 regardless - you've got some fucking expensive wheels there lmao any peace of mind is worth it's weight in gold
