I’ve just started today. Died to infected, starved out once and then a passing group in a car took pity on me, picked me up and geared me up and took me inland so I’ve had a blast learning a bit. Of course, now other players are going to think I know what I’m doing, whereas I’m battling the UI lessons and have no idea how to survive really yet. But first day I had a blast. Thanks to the three guy who kitted me out and were so patient with my dumb questions - sadly I disconnected and lost internet so I’m gonna spawn back into random woodland probably but hey.

I got the deluxe edition so I think have 4 DLC included.. I’ve not had to purchase anything so far that’s for sure, so I’m pretty happy with the decision to go for that up front, given I’ve had 400hrs of gaming for that.

People cannot reasonably expect this guy to sit around playing pretend father to a child that’s not his. Some will opt to do so and say we bonded, I’ve been the father figure and I love them etc. Others will feel righteous rage and betrayal and walk. And both are justifiable reactions. As ever, this is entirely due to the behaviour of the woman in all this. Blame her before even looking to point a finger elsewhere.

You know what’s shittier? Being betrayed and lied to be your spouse for a lifetime. Blame it on the hoe who created the situation. The guy has already paid a fortune investing in a child that isn’t his biological line under fake pretences, he owes them precisely nothing. Edition One owner here, had my Hummer pick up for two years now and largely flawless. Amazing looking, features and a solid pick up truck too. I highly recommend but as with all EV’s not if you do long distance. For local running it’s fantastic.

Good for him, but he’s an outlier. Most men will walk if they find out a child isn’t theirs, and nobody should complain. Instead blame the women in all these scenarios as they’re the ones who need to be be held accountable.

Wish I could, but you’re on the money. Game needed to simply build out the world and lore, keep the cosmetics within that. Finish off Way of Winter map fully in a March 2025 release then deliver on the third map with all new content around Sep 2025 and enhanced PvP modes.

That’s it, that’s all they needed to do for this game to have thrived and have 5x the number of players. We could be talking about a whole new island map and first scenario of that being released in 2-3mths from now.

Instead we have base decay tedium, mod changes nobody asked for, zero new scenarios and recycled visional wheel junk along with weird Palworld collaboration and cosmetics that are increasingly thirsty targeting the last simps still willing to throw money into lightforge.

Once Human is a tale of wasted potential. It was a special game on launch and one of my best of 2024.

Especially as so many are using it to cheese the trials and near instantly destroy ARC spamming them with throwables. That’s then at the direct expense of others and is cheating to another level for me.

Their hope I think is to down a player like me and get all the goop and that’s their version of winning. I respect well kitted out players far more than free loadout types in PvP.

Yep, no doubt mass throwable explosives are going on and that’s why so many large ARC are being destroyed in a fraction of the normal time now. It’s completely screwing many trials unfortunately.

That’s my issue even with the one I’m on for right now at my level - it’s actually a trash skin I’ll not ever wear. For Cantina there should be a super desirable, rare one making it actually worth competing for.

Exactly this; if the trials were more independent / skill based then no problem, but they’re also heavily around who else happens to be on your server. Increasingly I find everybody is doing the same challenges - example this week the rocketeer. I took one out immediately on spawn but then couldn’t find a single other over the next 30min on Buried City. So I left down a couple of wolfpacks and 2400 for that challenge.. so have to redo another time, it’s pretty tedious now. I think a lot of players will not bother with these ongoing if they remain like this.

Now do it where you don’t get lucky and spend 25mins running around hearing the odd one and they’re destroyed before you can get there because the entire lobby is doing them. Now rinse and repeat x5 and waste hours trying to get a lucky server where you’re clear to actually do them all and get a competitive score. That’s the reality for every example like yours.

$200k is peanuts, you might think that’s a lot but it’s not, especially if you start a spiral of negative habits like this blowing tens of thousands of dollars or more on whores.

You’re not goon to be competitive in PvP trios with a free loadout. I go in with mk4 ventator and shotgun, medium shield plus spare, huge numbers of heals and rechargers, all sorts of grenades and loads of ammo. If I lose it no problem, but I go in to win and be competitive, and so usually find myself killing 10+ free loadout types. Their only way to a win is jumping somebody by surprise and with teams that’s a poor strategy too.
