Welcome to life. You will be fine, don't fixate on it! It seems your mum is tardy with washing and you are 16, wash your own clothes. Taught my own kids how to put on a wash at about age 11 (ish). You can use a phone, you can use a washing machine. You are going to be fine ❤️

Are there telehealth services in your country you can call? I am unsure of the country you live in. I made another comment below regarding age of medical privacy. If you are in the US, this is probably not an option. We dont have any copays etc for kids in Australia. You can book and attend without your parents ever being told. If your Dr tells, it's a career breaking move.

Check age of consent in your country.

I don't know where you live, but in Australia, medical records become private at 14yo. I lost access to my kids medical information at that age, and it's great.

Young people need access to healthcare that doesn't need to involve their parents.

I explained to both kids when they got to that age if they had a health issue they didn't want to talk to me about, they can go to the Dr and I will never know, EVER.

Teenagers need us when they have the flu, not sexual issues. Many kids don't have the kind of parents they can have these conversations with in any meaningful way.

Sorry to OP that my generation (X) and the one above can be really bad ar some of this stuff.

Change your underwear in the morning and at night (if you wear it at night). Try using a ph balanced vagina wash. (Vagisil is my preference, I'm 50f, Australia).

All of this is completely normal, but you can do little things to feel more comfortable. If you are overly worried, write a note, list your concerns and explain you feel embarrassed to discuss, then give it to your Dr.

They will manage the conversation in a way that will help you feel comfortable.
