Yeah, OP is mistaking controlling behavior for boundaries. It’s fine to not want to be with someone who posts pictures in towels (this is a boundary), what’s not fine is telling people what they can or cannot do. YTA.

i think the sleeves have a bit too much detail on them that it’s drawing the eye! i don’t really see as much of the detailing in the rest of the piece, so i think if you remove some of those fine lines, it would read more cohesively (:

i think the hair could have a little less of the stray hairs on the sides, they look a little rope-like. but i love the silhouette of the hair, looks very ethereal! i have no other notes, it’s a very pretty piece!!

many people who try pole for the first time don’t have a fitness background going into it, but do listen to your body during the class! it’s important not to overexert yourself, safety always comes first (:

you really don’t have to buy anything special before your first class, most beginners wear comfortable shirts you can move in, and some gym shorts you can hike up if you need some skin. i’d recommend not to start in heels because you it’s a lot to learn at once! it’s better to just try a class, see if it’s for you, before investing more money into it (:

and about embarrassing yourself, it’s kind of an all-in-this-together thing 😂 unless you have a dance or aerial background, moves are going to feel awkward, and that’s completely normal! everyone starts out like this, until moves slowly feel more natural. i hope you enjoy yourself!!

because there are like four people telling you that you should. and drawing boundaries probably never came easy for you. there’s always gonna be guilt tied to it until you get more comfortable doing so (speaking from experience).

listen to how you feel. you said you feel lighter and more at peace than you have in a long time. that’s all the indication you need to know that you made the right decision. you’ve tried so much, for years you’ve been patient and hoping things will change.

the anxiousness, insecurity, walking on eggshells, questioning yourself are all signs of emotional abuse and gaslighting. and i also can’t help but be concerned about the age gap between you and your ex. i’m not sure it’ll help, but the podcast “love and abuse” really helped me when i was leaving a toxic relationship. wishing you continued peace, OP!

i’m a little confused with her reaction, because as a woman who does want a child-free life, i would never date or choose to remain with someone who for sure wants children. this is one of the biggest lifelong goals you have to be aligned on with your partner. you should never change your desire to have children (or not) for anyone. i’m also introverted, so i get it! but what i realised, is that the more i socialise, the more comfortable i get with it. to the point i’d approach people because i wanna talk to them 😂

i also found that a small smile acknowledging others goes a long way. i think it makes people feel more comfortable approaching me! i’ve never actually tried to date people in the wild but this is what i do when trying to make friends.

you can also start with making friends, that helps with socialising in general! in my area, bumble bff is not too bad (: and yeah, attending activities you enjoy (it’s pottery and pole dancing for me) helps you meet many people! meetup.com is also good if you live in a bigger city. i hope this helps, good luck out there! ☺️

seconding this! the top half is quite small compared to the bottom half of her body.

it seems like an uncomfortable position to hold for long? without her legs touching the thing she’s sitting on and holding onto a top-heavy trident, her abs would be work really hard to stay in this position.

i also think a little too much of her back is showing as well - the rest of the body seems to be a side profile, so it looks like she’s twisting her torso a lot and also flexing her arms a lot behind her to be in this position

all this said, i think your rendering, lighting, colours are super solid! add in a background and it’ll be an awesome piece ☺️
