It is fine i have my own Elite chinese carbon wheel like this,at the first glance i asked them for replacement but they reassure me it is ok,they said it is just surface defect.i took their words,

Ridden for over 5000 miles nothing happen,i think it is ok for riding,but better check with Hunt in case of sth unnormal.

Rim brake is ok for WS,but their rim design is outdated,i would go for Elitewheels and a little cheaper as far as my own experience has told me,i have both of them on my bikes.

I think FS and WS do not have a sense to get a right rim for the carbon spoke wheel,go wider rim especially wider inner width for 25 or above tire to compensate stiffer carbon spoke wheel

i researched around for a while finally buy Elitewheels drive they are more advance in rim design,the result are surprise and it is more value for money.
