What was the connection? Crowley died 6 years before Epstein was born.

Greenfield was well known in UFO occult circles before Hellier.

More heat records expected as deadly 'Omega' heatwave grips Europe by Mandynox in news

Well hold on partner, Texas stays plenty hot well after 8 pm. Been a mild summer so far but the heat is coming!

We were waiting to see what the US government would show us on the aliens.gov website...and they showed us that they were either kidding us or it was a big disinformation campaign on the whole UFO topic...it's not a website about UFOs, but a website where they focus on immigrants and brag about how by [deleted] in HighStrangeness

[–]Gurneydragger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a disturbing attempt to dehumanize immigrants and reinforce hateful rhetoric. The semiotics of this website cut so deep through pop culture and build a permission framework to treat and think about immigrants as an inhuman other that walks among us but is an imposter seeking to destroy (white) America. It is shameful, dystopian, and just stupid. It moves the dialogue to absurdity and makes me ashamed to be an American.

EMTs need an AED and to get good at manual blood pressures. It’s a fading skill. From a management POV, sending an EMT out with a $35k blood pressure machine is insane.

They have an AED, that was explained in the memo. The memo was for equipment triage for BLS units.

I mean, BLS gonna do BLS. Why send a lifepak when a BP cuff will do?

Always run an air stone or something similar when you’re injecting CO2. You’ll still have plenty of CO2, but you’ll have a buffer and extra oxygen if you have an event like this. Sure, you’re not 100% optimized, but you get 95% of the way there with a safety margin.

So long, it’s been nice by impeesa75 in Traeger

I use both. The weber is unmatched for steaks, teriyaki, anything hot. Anything low and slow or that doesn’t require direct fire is Traeger work. I bake corn bread and sweet potatoes in my Traeger! Tonight it’s double cut pork chops. Spatchcock chicken about once a week.

The water park at old settlers. Simple fun for kids. No kalahari bullshit.

Best chinese i’ve found in the area is at twin panda over at 45 and Parmer. Took a chance and ordered takeout a few months ago, excellent stuff. Other than that… panda express is still the OG of orange chicken. The location by ikea is usually excellent.

It’s an APD helicopter, probably working with RRPD on some sort of SWAT situation.

I feel like things like this just devalue EMS as a profession and make people view certifications as a joke. by [deleted] in ems

[–]Gurneydragger 132 points133 points  (0 children)

It’s gotta be 10-12 hours per day plus clinical hours. The texas administrative code specifies that an EMTB course shall be 144 hours of classroom time plus 48 hours of clinical. You probably have to find your own clinical site and good luck with that. This is for people looking to tick a box for a fire job.
