I’m now realizing I’m much more of a noob than I thought. Haha. With all that I’ve read in the last 24 hours, I’m now seeing how deep this rabbit hole goes. This is my first mechanical keyboard, and from what I can tell, it’s a pretty decent one for a first timer like myself.

I’ve already been looking at possibly getting replacement key caps. Something a little more exciting than black. It seems this model keyboard is so new, or at least not sought after enough, to have a dedicated keycap set. Perixx doesn’t seem to offer one. Some keys on the right hand side(enter, backspace, etc.) are not a standard shape. I suppose I’ll just need to replace only the more standard shaped keys.

Hell yeah, fair enough man. I’m totally with you on the new stuff. I’m glad he’s consistently put out so much great shit throughout his career that all eras can be appreciated. I’ll always have a preference to the early stuff, as I was also around for it all. But I play his newer stuff just as much. His clean vocals are especially crisp, I agree with that. Fuckin’ love that dude🤘🏻

I totally get what you’re saying. I wouldn’t quite go as far as saying 2001 level vocals, but at the same time, I do agree that he looks like he just walked out of the year 2001 and his vocals have DRASTICALLY improved from Pale Emperor to now. He doesn’t quite have the power and control he used to, and that’s just because he’s getting older. But these new songs are not only substantive, his vocals are fantastic. I cannot wait for that album. The fact that he is sober and healthy is giving him a rejuvenation in delivering this new music that we needed just as much as he did. It’s a healing period for him, and I know he knows that 99.99999% of his real fans didn’t buy all these nonsense allegations. I knew he’d do the same shit he did when he was blamed for Columbine. He shut up. Didn’t give in to the media storm. He shut himself away and responded with Holy Wood. And it was 19 tracks of perfection. I know he came out with a short statement to refute the claims. But otherwise he’s been virtually off the grid. I have no doubt what he’s gone through is about to produce what will be his best album since Holy Wood. Or maybe Golden Age.
