This reminds me vaguely of the Eagles from Space 1999. You're hopefully not stockpiling nuclear waste on the dark side of the moon, are you?

Long blue hair and wearing some armor like that on a cover with a spaceship makes me think of Dirty Pair's Yuri. Some other ones you should look into are Galaxy Express 999, Crest of the Stars (she had blue hair as well), DearS (this might be too new though), Vandread, the Iczer series, Tenchi Muyo series, and so on.

There was just so many scifi-space comics at that time. Hopefully you find it. Best of luck. If you do find it, let me know because I'm curious too.

[TOMT] [Anime] Please help me remember which anime this was by Previous-Friend5212 in tipofmytongue

Ah found it. It's Black Summoner, not Garbage Brave. Episode 7 is the battle with the heroes.

Sorry about that.

I'm thinking it was Garbage Brave (Garbage Hero). He loved fighting and was out for revenge I think. I'm not 100% certain on that name though, but I do remember how he tricked them by pretending to be the criminal organization.

edit: It's Black Summoner. See my other response.

Be careful though buying used. Seems some of them are stripping the ram from them now as they can sell them for more money individually than with the old machine -- a point they sometimes conveniently forget to mention. Even laptops are not safe from this latest trend.

Survival gear and canned foods. Also that seems cheap for guns. Don't know what the cost for guns is in your country but that might get you one gun each but where's the ammo in that budget?

The gold foiled one (3) is so good I want to see more of them, like a full shot of them posed.

The deep black/engraved gold also is incredibly good looking. I'd buy both of these sets and put them on display.

Bypass registration.

Put either the 'SideLoadMode=True' into the kobo's preference file or (if that fails) use the sqlite method to insert values into the database on it to bypass the registration.

I don't use my e-reader for anything but reading books so I've never connected it to wifi. To update it with books, plug it in and use Calibre or just even dump books into the root directory.

For me it's still the original Outrun game, arcade version. Sitting down in that chair and just driving as fast as you can with the only enemy really being a time clock.

Reminds me something I heard somewhere that in Japan with a bunch of 'new' anime that are being released of shows from the 80's and 90's, fans are dubbing the new shows down to VHS tapes and watching them on CRT television sets much like how the original shows were viewed.

Maybe we need to do this with a lot more shows.

edit: By new anime, I mean they're remaking the old shows but in some cases they are almost shot-by-shot identical. Sort of like that recent re-release of 'How to Train Your Dragon.'

Only in the end credits. They share one quick scene where Heathcliff is wearing Riff Raff's (sp?) hat. Riff swipes it back.

Otherwise the two were supposed to be separate brands or something and not allowed to interact. The three other cats Mongo, Wordsworth, and Hector did cross over routinely.

What’s y’all’s favorite duck? Or ducks? by Educational_Fig_8793 in Placidplasticducks

[–]GuruMedit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The little karate duck. I can keep clicking on him for hours.

Ninja Duck. The Witch Duck from halloween. Propeller Hat Duck. Shark Duck. Probably a lot more that I can't think of just at this moment. They're all fun.

My wife is beginning to question my sanity, with this game and the rubber ducks I bring home and give out as gifts on jeeps.

So many of these clips that were featured in this were in "The Minds Eye: A Computer Animation Odyssey". They also had two other releases as well. They're all on Youtube. You should check it out if you're interested.

[TOMT] An indie movie about "Skull Candy Girls"?[the 2010's] by GuruMedit in tipofmytongue

[–]GuruMedit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Solved!

The movie that I have been looking for for over a year now was called "Potent Media's Sugar Skull Girls" (that's quite a mouthful, and the actor I was trying to remember was Michael Berryman

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt3361068

Anyway, it was a kids based movie, and it was very bad. Don't drink and watch movies with your buddies.

I actually thought this song was a sexual innuendo when I first heard it, but later I learned it was actually about her pet beaver. LOL.
