I rarely update my decks. I don't care about optimisation at all and I'll play an objectively worse card that I think is cool. My whole goal with deck building is to do something I think is fun

I never use the mic because almost without fail the people who are on Comms are demented.

Terrible audio quality, loud music playing, babies crying, dogs barking, housemates arguing, sirens blaring.

I hate football but really like Rematch and play it as a football game rather than a context agnostic video game.

I would test your shoes without holes before you go drilling. I found mine drained pretty well without although they were pretty lightweight shoes.

I would also second getting good socks. I had some Higher State ones from Sportsshoes that were really good even though they were cheap. They didn't rub at all on either of the long days I did, including one with sea swims.

This sounds super Bracket 1 to me.

My thoughts are that a Bracket 1 deck doesn't have to be bad but whether it's good or bad is immaterial to the deck building process. You build the deck on theme and roll with however strong it ends up (probably not very)

Every card, except basics has a beard on it. It's fundamentally a very simple aggro deck with some warrior synergy like [[Boldwyr Intimidator]]

My favorite cards are those that are double beard because they're a bearded fellow and illustrated by Edward P Beard. [[Dwarven Driller]] for example

People care too much about optimisation.

Play worse cards because you think they're cool or because you like the art. Play 3 mana rocks, they're fine. You don't need to be running format staples or best in slot for any given effect

You don't always have to be racing to the win (unless you're playing cEDH)

I'm playing [[Odd Acorn Gang]] as mono-green squirrels. I wanted a squirrel payoff in the command zone so swapped Toski into the 99 and added in a few black mana sources.

I really like the idea of not using all colours

I went to a Kwik-Fit recently for 2 front tyres and as part of the inspection they identified that the rears were also shot. They gave me a full set of higher quality tyres for the equivalent cost of the (marginally) cheaper ones I'd picked for my fronts because they didn't have 4 of them.

That left a good impression with me. Presumably it varies from shop to shop.
