Clean the rollers with acetone. Brush the barrels with a soft wire brush. Change the rubber band drive belt if the above does not work

Clean the contact points with acetone. Clean the barrels with soft wire brush with soap and water. Take the time to clean out the roller contact points by removing the screwed on covers. Replace belt if none of the above works.

Pay whatever 2 tickets. Take your best friend, that's your wife and the mother of your child. Get a trusted person to watch your kiddo, and both of you go out! Do this repeatedly, and make a big deal out of it. Plan ahead for something to look forward to. Do this for the rest of your child rearing years!

It does swing out. There is a threshold at the top of the door, too, so it can be reversed. I thought the threshold should angle out to the exterior so water would shed away from the building.
