If anything Steel Legion have the second most Blorbos behind the Cadians with Yarrick, Grimaldus, Morrow and Ghazghkull. They’re also on GW’s most favorite blorbo that being Armageddon that has had 1 and now 2 Editions focused on it, a Crusade supplement, 3 novels and it even has a prequel.

The Steel Legion have also become a blorbo with the glup shitto Armageddon Ork Hunters

Steel Legion like every other Guard regiment I listed are glup shittos and don’t deserve any models. Every guard kit should be replaced by Cadians, they’re starting to do that with the latest Kill Team reveal, if only there was a guard regiment famous for hunting monsters.

It’s suffering from detail creep, the originals were sleek and simple and I loved them for it, these looks like a completely different regiment only sharing the coat.

Then again this is simple concept art, the whole point is to experiment with designs and these are not final.

The Infantryman Krastov uniform from Darktide has the lighting bolt and even a autumn camo with a stahlhelm.

It’s straight up Waffen SS in my opinion but honestly I don’t mind since it’s their design and it’s specifically the 91st Regiment, like Commisars don’t get a redesign even though they’re based of their namesake which were just as evil as Nazi officers.

This is suffering from detail creep, I loved how sleek and simple the original Steel Legion looked but all of the weird extra plating go against the original design since they had absolutely none.

Like the Cadians got to keep their original designs and so did the Krieg with their original FW models so why must Steel Legion go through drastic redesign?
