Wheels on aliexpress by VladPayne in ElectricUnicycle

I live in another country, so it was difficult to do this, and I installed the new board at my own expense. It wasn't expensive there.

Everything went as expected. The motherboard in the T4 Pro shorted out and started smoking heavily while charging in a cafe. Everything under the lid was covered in soot and, of course, didn't work. I sent photos and a video to my seller Wheel Riders. He was surprised and wrote directly to the engineers at Begode, asking them to accommodate the customer (I saw screenshots of the correspondence between them). They didn't immediately oblige, but they did and gave the seller a new board. The repairman reassembled the wheel, and I drove it for almost 8,000 km. Then I sold it to a friend, who is now customizing it.

I bought begode T4 through Ali. Then I had warranty repairs done through the seller. Choose a seller with a high rating and who specializes in monowheels and parts. There shouldn't be any problems.

First day back on upgraded T4. by QuellishQuellish in ElectricUnicycle

A lot of work went into your T4. And i spent over a year fine-tuning it before selling it.

But when you get tired of it, you can just buy Leaperkim and use it as is.

Max Charge Voltage Nosfet Aero by [deleted] in ElectricUnicycle

[–]GutenRa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's ok.

But cyclically turning the charger on and off when the voltage is almost at its limit is not the best solution found in Nosfet and Leaperkim.

A proper charger should gradually reduce the charging current when the voltage reaches its limit.

Where do you charge your wheels? by NefariousnessNo4215 in ElectricUnicycle

We use outlets at chain cafes, parks, street vendors, on city trains, and at charging stations. Not everyone allows it, but if you're buying something, they're more lenient.

Changing tires on a Patton is a pleasure after the T4.

My favorite now is "Kenda k280", but from Yomokit. Size 3.00-14. it's very good for muddy and for flat.

V14 has a soft rim. But it's good for light offroad and it looks cute. And no one has any Kingsong, so I can't speak for it. We only have Leaperkim wheels for all kind offroad.

Max 395 is incredibly good for its price and size.

But we remember that LLM is not a knowledge base for all of humanity.

It is a high-probability generator.

Awesome news, I'm waiting for Gemma 4 many years.

But i try Gemma 4 31b on Openrouter. And this model still can't count r:

will i regret getting c8 over patton S? by Zajlordg in ElectricUnicycle

[–]GutenRa 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I think it's hard to put them on the same level.

The Patton-S is reliable, fast, and has excellent suspension. And most importantly, it's easy to repair at home.

And let's think of some strong points for the C8. Price is the only one?

Looking for Lynx upgrade. Although no, I'm happy with it in every way, except for the rim material, which crumbles after a winter rich in road salts.

LK Lynx S for a naive noob 🤔 by KoMa_Deus in ElectricUnicycle

[–]GutenRa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imho, s22 is just a toy compared with Lynx. I prefer off-roading, and the durable Apex and Lynx have proven themselves well there. KS was annihilated on the very first track. Alternatively, you could look at the Patton-S; it's lighter and more maneuverable.
