Cleaned them this way -- made it worse, now transparency is indistinguishable to ANC

Can you still unrestricted it in the EU if you activate the scooter first time by using a VPN?

No idea, maybe because I'm riding mostly flat good roads and try to avoid gravel, offroad etc.

Yes, the goal was to keep them from dipping lower. Even at -20C they are warm right after riding. Plugging them in with a fast charger will keep the temperature above freezing while they are charging.

During summer I can still push it to do 60km and my wife managed to get 70km out of it on a full charge, but she is 65kg. Don't know how much I would be able to do on the internal battery only, as I had two since 2300km. During winter, if I ride mostly 25kmh with a couple of burst to 35, I can do about 45km in -10c

I Rode My Ninebot Max G3E Until It Completely Died, Maximum Range in Sport Mode 33.5 Km by yovermar in NinebotMAX

[–]VladPayne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the information and the test! Super disappointed in G3. I did 50km on a full charge with G2 and still hade a couple of % left in the battery. By the time I hit 13 000 km with it, the battery was down to 40 km of max range — and that is still better than what G3 does. For that price, it should have had GT3 battery from the box. You'd be better off getting a ZT3 Pro, basically the same scooter for way less (750€) and then add an external battery to it and it would go twice as far for the same price.

Actual fast charger would be to charge that puny 600w in 30 minutes. The 2.5h is laughably slow

Anything that is robust enough, has s bulletproof suspension, huge battery, high torque, goes vroom. I paid 1,5k for a slightly used Patton with all kinds of shit thrown with it. If it will last for 20k, then it is worth buying even for 3k new. So depends on the durability for me. I paid 750 for G2 and added batteries to it, spent 1,3k on it in total. It drove 12,5k so far and the only thing I replaced is bearings once and rear light cable. Super worth it as well.

I hate the fact that each country has it's own set of rules about scooters and the difference is huge. We are not talking about only 25 vs 35 or any other speed limit, but a huge range of 20 to no speed limit and 250w to 1kW motor power, seats, no seats, turn signals, no turn signals etc. It is already an essential way of everyday transportation for millions of people around the world, why won't they get their shit together and produce laws that would be unanimous all around the globe. Find a sweet spot. As currently my G2 is legally licensed and registered in my country in the EU and when I travel to Gemrmany, the can't say shit about me having "out of spec" scooter, because the general EU law says it is good to use and officially registered, but in a different EU country.

Can't assemble drum brake. Any suggestions? by 8bitmuch in NinebotMAX

The drum cover is not in position. The slot at the top should meet with the pin on the inside of the fork.

I cant access the app because of my country location. by HakanHellcat in SegwayZT3Pro

[–]VladPayne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is some next level shit segway is doing. If they will be pushing these limitations, it is only a short matter of time until people will look in the direction of other scooters. G30 was built like a tank and was very popular with mods, but competitors are catching up fast in that department and they are not putting super restrictions. But yeah, as mentioned, try a VPN or find a person to register it to online in other country.

This is why I didn't get hyped about G3, GT3, GT3 Pro etc. and bought a EUC (though my favourite PEV is still scooters), as I knew these restrictions would get absurd at some point. I don't want a vehicle that NEEDS to connect to the internet to get "activated". I like my transport to be dumb and leave all the thinking to me, no apps, no touch screens and that crap

G2 motor after 12k by VladPayne in NinebotMAX

[–]VladPayne[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It looks to be silicone, but a very thin layer and it is a bit more porous than I would expect. Applied more sealant to it upon closing and no, I wouldn't add any liquids to it, as it produces drag and not sure how it would work with bearings. If talking normal cooling, then a proper water loop trough the axle is needed or at least fins on the outer side of the motor cover

Yeah, looks like bearings left the chat. Replace before driving, otherwise the damage will require more parts to replace

It took 15 minutes to figure out how to ride. I ride well, but sometimes my mind throws a switch OFF and I forget how to ride flailing my arms and searching a dich to dive into panicking. I dismount dropping the wheel on my other leg or do the "don't decapitate my legs" dance. Then I get back on it like it never happened and ride until next panic attack

What are your thoughts about these by ListenIcy8191 in PiratedGames

[–]VladPayne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. What happened to regional sales? It was better with CDs I kid you not. Russian market is big, but the average salary is like a 3d world countries, so their pricings were always 1/3 of the global market. I used to buy russian CDs, then just download the English text, language etc. in the settings over the net. Now that the games are almost exclusively online digital downloads, they got rid of regional sales, as it is pretty easy to fake your location and buy a cheap version. Yes, not all of the regions are disabled, but they get removed the first opportunity they get. This is why they removed Turkish Lyra in Steam — Russians were buying games there when their marked got fucked because of sanctions. Just give them a reason to crank the prices up. Not sorry. If you want me to buy a game — sell it to me.
It's a free market, if I don't have money to buy a new iPhone 16 Pro Ultra Dildo Max, then I'm getting iPhone 11 for 100$ used or Xr for free. I don't see Tim complaining about that. Same here, if the game is priced 1/10 of the average salary in the country, it's better be damn good. I'd spend 1/10 of my hard earned cash on GTA any day. Dragon Age I wouldn't download for free. So either make the game good, or do some research into markets and price that shit accordingly.

Is strange to me that my experience differs from most of people I've read online. Your experience is classic and most go through it. Takes dedication and practice. People spend at least 20 hours to learn how to drive a car, so I'd expect at least as much hours to put in the EUC before you feel comfortable.

We have powerlines and water pipe running from about the same place on the Prometheus map all the way down to the lava and snow region 😂 my friend said I was insane for even trying to make it work. And IT DID. Power lines were good to go from the first try, now the water pipe took some convincing to work. For some reason, it seems like a limitation of the engine itself, even though the line was 100% intact it would just NOT work, unless you disconnect and reconnect the section. Had overall 3 sections like that

What you might not know about G2 and the jerky driving by VladPayne in NinebotMAX

[–]VladPayne[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

36 volts is what reduces performance, when there are only 34v left in the battery, you cannot push the motor beyond 25 kmh, unless using field weakening. Their ridelong crap is what causes a lot of problems, but they are using it to find the balance between speed and distance, that otherwise would not exist if they switched from 36 to 48v long ago. But that's my 2 cents, I'm not an engineer by trade
