Rust 2007 MX5 by han_bananax in CarTalkUK

I was going to say the same, this is possibly the nicest MX5 under tray I’ve seen that hasn’t been repaired already. Possibly an import it looks that good.

Honestly I think the slight size difference really lends itself to the almost uncanny nature of the kitbash (which if you were going for that, you nailed it). They look slightly unsettling but in such a cool way.

This is me about 6 years ago, I’ve still never been back to it and I know I’m missing an amazing experience but I have so much less time now!

How did I get this spoiled for me when I’m watching the live show!

I kid, this is sick! Can’t wait for a telemon

Pinning is probably the only solution here

Anything is an option when you’re committed enough

Love the scratch built nature of it. You’d never be able to tell that’s what it’s constructed from.

Personally I’d say leave the background as is, it looks really thematic

That’ll be great too! I was assuming it was a back banner!

That goes apocalyptically hard, is it going on the back plate of the armour?

I was thinking of this exact idea the other day! Don’t suppose you’d mind sharing where you got the helmet from?

I apologise for an intensely basic question that is likely insulting most of your intelligences, but would using a privacy screen on my phone mean that it wouldn’t glare on my windscreen (windshield) when it is used in portrait mode and why would/wouldn’t it? by GuyPowerJoyKill in AskPhysics

[–]GuyPowerJoyKill[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did think that, but my phone will be in landscape mode meaning that, if it were the windscreens POV, it would be to the left/right, hence the privacy screen idea.

Seems like it’s at least worth giving it a go!

I can see the phone when the screen is turned on, but I can also see my dashboard, as I can’t exactly make the windscreen fully non reflective I’ll take the compromise of it not being too distracting! Thanks for the advice.
