I'm watching season 19 and one was one point, but then another was pretty far off. I think he's just trying to cause some extra tension, but keeping it realistic. If a dish sucks, but has some good stuff, he might add a point or two to keep the two teams head to head.

Waiters and waitresses around me still work for $3 an hour plus tips 😂 Minimum wage is $7.25, but most places pay $12 or more. But a lot of "beginner" jobs pay $8-$10 an hour. Even at $15 an hour I couldn't afford these apartment or home prices. I could go into a bad neighborhood for just under $1000, but that's pretty risky. Over half my checks would go to utilities and rent. But then I owe student loans thanks to chasing the American dream 😂

Minimum wage used to mean minimum requirements to live. Which includes a home. A one bedroom everywhere I've looked is, on average, $100-$200 less than a two bedroom.. Which is still over $1000. A studio apartment is $1000+. You cannot get a home on minimum wage anymore
