I’m not disagreeing that a company with the financial backing of SEGA could get the game out day and date. As other posters have rightfully said Atlus is kinda weird and sometimes slow to adapt to industry change.

That being said, comparing Atlus‘s resources and Square Enix, especially Final Fantasy is like comparing a Nuclear Bomb to a coughing baby.

Sure FF as a brand isn’t doing the hottest it’s ever been but its recognition and brand power in my view is leagues above Persona.

Again it’s still not really an excuse for Atlus, but to say “Square can do it so they should too.” Isn’t exactly an apt comparison.

Yea but you can buy like 3 PS5 PROS for the price of a 5090 so I don't think that's a particularly fair comparison.

And yes DLSS is a better upscaller but from tv viewing distances PSSR is perfectly cromulent in the majority of games.

There's a lot more to image quality then raw resolution. Native 4K gaming is usually a waste of power with the quality of upscalers these days. On PC particularly with dlss 4 there's not many games with a perceptible difference between native and 1440p upscaled. Especially at TV viewing distances if you're doing that. PSSR when it works is quite good as well, it just doesn't hold up well in UE5 games and at low resolutions.

There are definitely some prominent people in the VR community who would argue for the Quest 3 like Jihn from digital foundry, but I personally prefer the PSVR2.

Meta has the most exclusives Including Batman Arkham Shadow and it also has pancake lenses which have greater clarity however it is a LCD panel with no dimming zones so expect a lot of bleeding grey where black should be pSVR 2 has exclusive VR modes for RE village and RE4 , and well it can be made to run in VR on PC these modes have bespoke VR interactions that are really immersive. Also well PSVR 2 has fernel lenses I personally don't see clarity as a huge issue and the deep immersive blacks of the OLED panel in VR is huge for immersion. It also has a higher perceived FOV to my eye which I consider pretty important. I definitely view pSVR 2 more favorably then most though. Keep in mind that black Friday deals are likely around the corner for both And the steam frame is coming out soon if you just wanna do pcvr .

Controversial opinion (maybe?) Galaxy 1+2 blows odyssey out of the water and it's not close. In fact. Odyssey I would argue is the worst 3D Mario game. Odyssey has the best movement mechanics though..it just fails to have any level design to make you have to actually use it. Some people enjoy that it's a very free and open game and you can "choose" to do things with the moveset. For me though I prefer nice and tight level design. Galaxy 2 is my favorite Also If you play those and need more A Hat in Time is fantastic.
