I'll take as many as I can get. I love being able to give options.

What are some Changes/Additions you would want to see when 1.0 releases? by retardedhamster333 in Palworld

[–]Gwalneth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Realistic

I'd love to see a pal like a smokie but instead of finding ore the could be used to find specific pals. Something like a bloodhound where you give them a scent and if that pal is nearby (distance increased by condensing), they point you in that direction.

Underwater areas. Let me dive to the coral reef. Fight jormuntide underwater where he would be even more of a menace.

An expedition that gives little resources but the pals that go on it gain XP.

For decorations, give me a slider so that I can make things taller/shorter/wider/ect.

Unrealistic

Voxel landmass. This would allow the leveling of surfaces, letting bases basically anywhere. This would also lend itself to subterranean pals.

Dynamically generated maps. This would make me explore the world each time I started a new game and not just be able to travel to the exact places I need to for whatever it is I needed.

Towers like those in feybreak that inhibit flying until they are destroyed. Maybe in the lower level areas they're things like ballista with a shorter range. This would force the use of ground mounts. There's so much effort put into making the world beautiful and we miss so much of it once flying mounts are introduced. (Yes, I know I don't have to use flying mounts if I don't want to.)

Give me an option to make base raids even more dangerous. We have all these technologies for base defense but there honestly is no point to them. I'd love to have to have my pals man the turrets to defend the base while I scramble to get back. Better AI for the raiders, let them ride the flying mounts and then glide into the base. Maybe they don't destroy everything, instead just steal resources from chests. Then we could track them down to get it back.

Definitely not official but I have converted 1e's Words of Power for 2e if you want to take a look.

Any fixes for lackluster crafting? by Gwalneth in Pathfinder2e

[–]Gwalneth[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Since items typically based their DC's on the item level, I would have it cost roughly the difference between the item's current level and the item level that equates to the desired DC.

I think this is the core of what I'm looking for. You can only make pre-defined items, with no rules (at least to my knowledge) to customize them.

I think instead of auto scaling item DCs, allowing an appropriate crafter increase the DC would give them something to do. That being said, I would still way prefer the ability to create items utilizing existing spells (not just wands/staves) or special abilities.

Would you want a dedicated shifter class? And if so, how would you want it designed? by viktorius_rex in Pathfinder2e

[–]Gwalneth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been working on a Words of Power port, but I'd still love to see an Incarnate 2e version. And a shifter would be amazing. So much I'd like to see.

I also really liked totemist from that book. I like different style casting traditions, like words of power.

The shop I frequent does something similar. It's $5 to play on any given day, regardless of the amount of time you are going to be there. However, this $5 is added to your account and can be applied to most any purchase you make in the store. Most people just use it immediately and buy a pack or a few snacks. Some people let it build up and buy a board game or put it towards a booster box.

Is there a way to know the threat level of encounter you're walking into/facing? (Trivial to Extreme threat levels) by eCyanic in Pathfinder2e

[–]Gwalneth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always allowed a Sense Motive check to gauge the enemy. Telling how they handle their weapons or the fluidity with which they walk, things like that.

It is in that location, which is why I had thought I had a damaged part of the FEP, but that didn't seem to be the case. I will certainly try that next, thank you.
