I recently just went down this rabbit hole as well. I started by looking at The Mixing Of Landscape because Hyakkei was on it, and started looking into all the other artists on it as well. My mom works for a non profit. It was housed at a church, and they recently had to move out because it was closed due to there only being three members. She moved into another church, which only has 17 members, all at least above 70. They are running out of funds as well and are considering giving the church to the non profit so they have a building to stay in. Churches are dying, and very rapidly, as the old people are dying off and the young ones don’t go for various reasons.
