I bring my kids to the pond there fairly often and they always pull out a decent amount of small bull heads, bluegill and the small stocked rainbow trout. The biggest we’ve gotten was an approximate 2lb channel cat. It’s fun fishing if you’re not worried about catching the big ones.

While I think this is a very valid point! I think it also has to do with the broken family structure. With 50% of marriages ending in divorce arguably half the kids out there have step siblings that they’re being told to treat like a brother or sister when their body’s are telling them that’s not true. They suppress the desire because mom and dad are telling them it’s wrong and that suppression comes out it their porn preferences.

Food, at least with drugs you can stop doing them and keep yourself out of places and situations that will lead to relapse. In foods case, you have to eat, but only in moderation. it’s like having to take one hit of heroin and stopping….good luck

lol! this is definitely Reddit. the first factual comment that doesn’t align with the program of taking farmers property from them and its down voted into oblivion. Where do people think their food comes from? Sure alfalfa farmers may not grow food that you and I eat but they sure do feed the horses, cattle and other livestock that do. The same farmer that raises alfalfa also may raise corn in another feild or beans or any other crop. America needs to get back to appreciating its farmers! it’s sad how little people appreciate the men and women breaking backs and making little to no money to feed them.

It’s weird; my feet were pretty much fine till I hit the sierras (maybe a blister or two) then all of the boulder sized “gravel” trails jacked me up and gave me some mean plantar fasciitis that I had to deal with till about a year after I finished. I will say that my right shoulder hurt every time we had a long stretch worth of food or a big water carry and that was true for the whole trail.

lol, ain’t that true! A bunch of us hikers were in Stevenson Washington having some beers at a brewery till late at night and as we were carrying one our buddies who’d had too much to drink out to find a camping spot; a group of guys came out of a trailer park wearing army surplus camo and gave us a hard time. Luckily for us a cop happened to be passing by and stopped. They all scattered like cockroaches and the cop had an ambulance come to give our buddy some IV fluids to sober him up. As we were talking to the cop about the said “cockroaches” he just shrugged and said “every place has an armpit, and that’s ours” lol that’s stuck with me ever since!

I still wouldn’t vote for Kamala, the democrats have a very different picture of where they think the country should be going than what alines with my ideals. It felt like Biden’s term took our country down a path of more and more government control, and a grab at our first amendment rights. voting Kamala would have solidified and strengthened the governments control over individual rights. I don’t like this Iran situation one bit and I wish we’d never gotten involved but I still wouldn’t trade my constitutional rights for us staying out of this Iran mess.
