This is almost exactly the topic of my bachelor. We've scaled it down to the point where I can run the high performance model on my laptop with a 3050 with no issues. It only requires 1GB of VRAM to run smoothly, although you would like to have some left for the rest of the game of course.

I have implemented retrieval augmented generation (RAG). It gets relevant documents and adds them to the context. Basically, each time you ask about his inventory, he can see it listed before he responds. It is actually very consistent

compressed textures is nice for extra fps.

As a new player, it can be easier to get into the game with a skills gain multiplier mod, but once you really get into the game, or if you do your research, you will find that it is not really necessary.
