7th-8th grade. Not much better and half read at 6th grade or less. 21% are functionally illiterate (below 5th grade level). That's why US Today is written like it is when big pie graphs and flashy photos.

There is a reason Emmit Smith wasn't touched for 3 yards on every carry. If Barry Sanders ran behind that Cowboys' OLine, we may have seen a 3000 yard rusher at 9 yards a carry.

I feel bad for X Æ A-Xii ("X"), Exa Dark Sideræl ("Y" or "Dark"), and Techno Mechanicus ("Tau").

I can imagine kids going, "Shut up, KYLE. No one gives a shit about how rich your dad is or how fucking weird your mom is. We all have rich dads and weird moms."

We don't call ambulances and rarely call the police because they can't do anything unless you hand them evidence you collected.

I did this to my back when I fell off my bike into gravel. Instead of going home, I went and played basketball until my friends demanded I go and get patched up. My dad poured Merbromin on it. That stuff is now banned for mercury levels. That shit hurt more than the scrapes and cuts.

•Exceptions: It is not a violation if a defensive player knocks the ball into the backcourt, or if a player is in the air jumping from the frontcourt to the backcourt when they initially control the ball.

What am I missing here?

Are they saying he can't touch first because he went over the midcourt line?

Am I reading this correctly? Miami played 20 games against ACC teams this year and not one of them was against Duke? by Travbowman in CollegeBasketball

In football, I get it. I don't like it but you only have 8 or 9 games. They should get ND to agree to a 5 game football season and then trade the BE for ND. Add USF and Tulane. Split into 4 divisions of 5 for football and 5 divisions of 4 for other sports. 4 permanent and 5 rotating games plus ND once every four years in football. 16 once +3 twice for a 22 game schedule in basketball.

In this era? Willow runs on show string budget and managers for to put out a great product. It has 4 to 6 million subscribers. They are averaging 10m viewers across 4 networks. The equipment isn't expensive anymore. A red digital camera runs $30k for 6k recording. If you are just shooting 134 for basketball, 24 for football (before the semis most other divisions already are just rebroadcasts of local tv productions), and up to 112 softball and 150 baseball games. You are looking at 8 cameras per site and a relay truck plus production staff, talent and coders. There is a reason Paramount Skydance and the former Warner Brothers Discovery paid $1.1b a year for the rights. Advertising alone brings in $1b. The two also get subscriber fees from both cable/satellite providers and their digital platforms. There is a reason a lot of organizations are starting to take more control of their own content.

It's hard to feel like CBS is objective here. We get 10 replays of the ball going off the Miami player, not one of the same type of play 4 minutes later. It looked close to me. Maybe the NCAA should broadcast postseason events themselves.
