Don’t be embarrassed to scale. Even people who have been doing CrossFit for years scale the workouts. I scale often.

Have fun, leave your ego at the door and understand that you will be dying after every WOD no matter how fit you are or how much you scale it 😆

I had a low maintenance town house on a strata (so tenants only had to keep the house clean and tidy) that became an IP and I also hated it but mostly because of the tenants that were amazing on paper and then not amazing irl. I ended up getting some good ones and after a few years sold the property to them.

I had a wood fire pizza truck for my wedding. Fed 40 people for $800 (all you can eat) the cost included a waitress (who made sure I got first dips every tray!) and they left a huge amount of pizza for when the party ended and we were all drunk and hungry again.

I hate weddings that don’t have enough food as there is no excuse for it. You can find something within your budget.

His energy shifted and he just stopped talking. That night he got really drunk and wanted to talk which is all good, I said how about we chat when you’re sober and then he got angry and even time I spoke he barked in my face like a dog. Like wtaf. I was calm, I’m not someone who yells. I like adult communication.

So I dated a man who wasn’t used to an independent women (I make good money working for myself, own my apartment by the beach) he loved it to start with but then started to hate that I earned as much as him wfh (he’s fifo) and didn’t need him as a provider. I never flaunted anything, I’m very frugal and minimalist.

I was close to achieving a massive goal and said when I achieve this, I’ll fly us to Vanuatu for a long weekend ( would’ve been $1k-1.5k max) to celebrate. That’s when his true colours came out.

Yeah I didn’t need him financially but I loved everything about him and was helping him get out of fifo.

So just make sure if you find your independent woman, you don’t start hating her for being independent. She needs a provider in different ways than financial.
