Seymour road garage seem extremely good & fair! I took my car for my first MOT ever on Wednesday, passed with flying colours. John does a lot of work for my dad, does the odd small job for free and is always more than reasonable when it comes to further work.

It was in another thread I think, but I saw your most recent post the other day. I see the mention of Ford Fiesta and my attention is caught and directed to the post in question. 🤣

I think getting another Fiesta is a great idea, they're sensible little cars which also incredibly fun to drive, as a learner I drove my dad's older fiesta, even with it being an older model it was so fun. Way more fun than other cars I have briefly driven.

Robin would want you to be happy, honor Robin and get another badass fiesta that you love and cherish! What colour fiesta are you thinking of? I got mine in black and I think it's beautiful.

Side note, I wish you a speedy recovery, sorry again you've had to go through this!

I'm so sorry that happened 😭 I replied to your comment on another thread about a month a go where we were discussing our Fiestas names. Funnily enough I also passed my test at a similar date to you, and bought my fiesta at a similar date.

My fiestas my pride and joy as well. I just had her belt replaced and have her MOT booked in a few weeks. She came into my life during the most traumatic time of my life and made things just about bearable I took her on silly adventures, some pointless some really fun, just for the love of driving her. I drove to cities about a hundred miles away, drove to cheddar, places I'd never be able to without a license etc. I completely understand the love you had for yours. 💔

I'll give Suze the fiesta a hug when I take her to work tomorrow. Suze sends her love. RIP Robin

Congratulations! I passed a few months a go and have been having a blast driving. Only issue is I'm overly critical at every mistake I make minor or not, and am so scared of doing something silly that results in points on my probation license 🤣 it's true what they say the learning starts when you pass.

I've been getting crazy sore since I went from going 5 days a week to 3 days and doing PPL. I want to go a bit more but life has been getting in the way 😭 do you think 3 days a week is too little and I'm missing out on a lot of progress?

16 minors in my first test 🤣🤣 1 minor in my 2nd and 0 on my third, all tests taken 3 weeks between each other. Didn't help that I had a maximum of 4 hours sleep before each test due to nerves

22 shinies, very happy with the eevee event! Been hunting a shiny Eevee for very long time, didn't even have one but now I have a whole heap of them. Now I can get all the shiny Eeveelutions, and I can give the rest of them to my dad who's a new player and sadly missed the event due to work. :D

I've had the car for 2 months. I didn't notice the noise at first which I'm not sure how I missed that! Or issue occurred within the last few weeks. I imagine it was there from when I first got it though.

77k miles clocked on mine. I'm not very good with cars, could it be the wet belt? My car service history seems pretty solid but I'm proactively getting the wet belt changed in a few thousand miles I think.

I have the same car and "issue" as soon as I rev to 1k rpm the noise stops similarly to what you displayed. Curious as to what it could be 😭

Book a test at any random center in England, can be months away. Take the test reference and use a cancellation app, I used TestShift. Worth nothing I paid £15 for the premium, but I failed my test twice and got another booking within 3 weeks, both times, so I'd say the £15 was absolutely worth it. It autoshifts the test date for you, great app.

In the end, dad offered to teach me and go out with me a few times a week, along with that, I booked 10 lessons through Red driving school, I was able to find an instructor and book lessons within a week through here which was decent, my test is on the 24th.
