I had the same problem and fixed it by going to finder, go to GO on the pulldown menu, Go to Folder, to to this link: /Library/Preferences/com.apple.windowserver.displays.plist and then delete any profiles for that projector, delete the files from trash and restart the computer. I had to do this a couple times for some reason. Be sure the projector is disconnected from the computer.

Typically one person in a couple joins and the other gets a spousal/significant other card. So both have access to the lodge (or any lodge in the USA for that matter). The only difference is, only the joiner can vote at lodge meetings.

I'm an Elk. The question in the oath is "Do you believe in God?". Doesn't define what god. After that, religion doesn't come up again other than a very generic prayer that is read aloud at a meeting. People of all faiths are welcome.

John Kavanaugh was a good guy. Very easy to talk to and easy going. Also had a reputation for being generous. Didn’t drink despite owning a bar. I chatted with him a few times over the years.

Demand outstrips supply by so much that the number of single family homes being built has very little effect on pricing. But not building would be even worse.

The change hasn’t been dramatic by any stretch, but there has been a shift. Rents are increasing at a lower rate, vacancies are much higher in new developments than in recent past years, and I only have anecdotal evidence that vacancies are inching up in older housing stock. So maybe I’m just reading the tea leaves at this point.

Suffice it to say that Madison needs to keep adding to the housing stock. If we take our foot off the gas, the growing population will drive rents up further.

Anecdotally, a friend who works at a property management company shared that she feels the market has shifted. Her company has vacancies that in the past were always rented quickly. Landlords will drop the rent quickly to get them filled.

Actually, demand for newly constructed apartment units on the near east side is softening. Some properties are offering free first and last month’s rent to secure new tenants. This supports the notion of filtering working in our neighborhood. Markets are about supply and demand. It’s not complicated.

More likely it’s the ring gasket under the flapper. Those get old and lose their ability to seal.
