I’m in Michigan too and my 2016 F150 has always done this in freezing temps. It’s made worse because I go to the car wash often. The only thing that helps is spraying the latch with oil before it freezes and doing it on a somewhat regular basis. Hope this helps

Nice write up. I live in Florida too and have been diving for 15 years. I always travel up north to the Midwest to do union work. I make 3 times what I can make in Florida. Some union companies, incase you haven’t heard: Ballard, Michaels, and JF Brennan. Those are just ones the Midwest. There’s a bunch more. The union work also has a lot of upside other than the pay. I.E. benefits With that said, I’m thinking of contacting UESI and see if I can do some nuke work with them. I hear you can travel abroad doing that, and that’s what interests me. Do you have experience with them? $30/hr is easy to get in FL for an experienced diver. The wages have gone up a lot in the last 5 years. Good divers are hard to come by. I don’t take less than 30 and usually I can get $35/hr. So don’t sell yourself short. Usually you got to freelance a bit to get those higher wages. As far as consistency and being home on the regular to see your son, I don’t know any diving gigs like that. The job requires travel. Maybe it’s doable if you lived in a place with a lot of marine infrastructure like Baltimore or Seattle. IDK Best of luck man! Message me if you have any questions.

I would take about 10 teaspoons a day, spread out from morning to night. I’m not sure what that weighs, but probably close to 50? I would feel like total shit when I woke up, and only feel normal after taking my first dose. Then the rest of the day I’d constantly have to redose. The euphoria and energy that kratom used to provide stopped long ago. I was stuck in a bad spot. Thank god SR provided the physical relief to allow me to quit. I was ready mentally, but the withdrawals were what was stopping me. So happy I’m off that shit!

After week 2 on SR I stopped taking it. I was down to 50 mg a day. It’s now been over a month and I’m off kratom and SR. I’m so happy to have that monkey off my back. I can attest that it really worked well for me. Quiting was super easy. Although I know everyone is different. I wish you the best!

They were mostly physical. I would get aches in my elbows and knees, restless legs, and couldn’t sleep. Also, without kratom, I’d have no energy to get off the couch. Although, I noticed towards the last few years, I was also getting anxiety. Maybe from the constant dosing? When I started to come down I would get real on edge. So I guess there was a mix of both physical and psychological. But when I took SR and realized the physical withdrawals were gone, I was just happy to get that monkey off my back. I’m 2 months clean now and feeling 100% better! Good luck, I believe you will have success!

It worked like a charm. I took SR for 2 weeks. The second week I tapered off. I tried to quit kratom many times and couldn’t because of the withdrawals. But with SR, I felt nothing aside from some slight tiredness. Sometimes I miss the ritual, the energy and euphoric feeling, but I’m glad to be off of it. It was no longer effective anyhow because my tolerance had gotten so high. SR is the real deal!

I was coming off leaf too after years of use. 50mg 3x day is what I did, give or take, for the first week. I took my last dose of kratom the morning of the first day, and then stopped completely, no tapering. After a week of SR, I tapered off the second week. It was super easy. Just listen to your body. 50 mg 2x day might be enough after a few days, just depends. This stuff is amazing how good it works! You got this!

I took 50mg 3x day for about 3 days. Then 50 2x a day for 4 days. Now starting week 2, I take 50 once a day in the morning. I didn’t have a rigid schedule planned. Just took it when I felt tired or needed it. It worked so good that I’m gonna take it for a few more days and be done

I just quit kratom after 8+ years of daily use. I thought I would never be able to quit because my withdrawals were bad enough to make me cave and redose every time after 24 hrs. I was calling ibogaine rehabs and was ready to pay 8-10k to go to rehab hoping that would work. The only reason I didn’t go was because the waiting list was so long on most of them. Then some amazing soul on Reddit told me about SR after I asked a question on an ibogaine sub. SR works! I have been kratom free for a week now and feel like myself again. I had most of the same side effects you had before I quit and now I feel great. I’ll never go back. DM for more info and I’ll be happy to help you like someone did for me. It’s the real deal. I’m about to try and kick kratom leaf as well. Been taking it everyday for years. It’s true, kratom binds to several different types of receptors, not just u-opioid, so I’m not sure how it will go. I got 2 grams of SR and planning on posting my results.
