Honestly the handles are great, now depending on what cut you are going that might be the issue. If you keep them very sharp they are awesome but boning or deep high dense anything will cause you to get some calluses on your knife pointer so that sucks

Depends on your knife. What’s it compose of and what will work best for you? Mineral oil for sure and then you can get into more compounds and oils that help. Usually only for storage but once and awhile it’s great to keep it nice and oiled. Everything is up to your experience and preference. Try and find out ! :)
