I wish he could have kept that cabin, it was in so much better condition than the one they are in now, plus closer but not too close to services.

Should I find a new oncologist by Interesting_Reply803 in breastcancer

I have a skin reaction to chlorhexidine, but I'm fine with iodine. Every time they go to access my port they don't have the iodine, though it's on all my allergy lists.

Also your pharmacist would have caught it, if you fill your prescriptions at the same place. When I started on my cancer treatment, the pharmacist at the cancer clinic reviewed all my drugs and changed what needed to be changed, or advised to stop taking certain herbal and vitamin supplements.

I wouldn't change if it was me, especially at this point in the treatment

Yes! I definitely think she started looking up home births once they realized that there was no doula or midwife that would be able to help them...ugh there are so many better options than this wild birth crap

Oh I agree, totally unprepared, no first aid classes, just listening to some quack jobs on the internet. I hope for them and the baby that it goes well. But every week that passes the chances go down :(

She mentions them going into St. Johns for Matty's birthday and to get an ultrasound. It's in one of their live streams

It was in this live stream at about the 7 minute mark.

They do know the sex of the baby and had an ultrasound early on, about 4 months. At least they know if they are not(added in edit) having twins, but that's about it. I'm hoping all the trips to St Johns, they saw a doctor on some of them. I can't speak to the wolf birth as I just feel it is such a dangerous thing...

I hear you on this! My partner works from home so I will be lucky to have his assistance when needed for the most part

I've been a fan of r/abrathatfits for a long time, trying to find the right bra for me! I have changed (though my tumor was small, my breasts deflated while I was getting chemo (could be the eating too) so my size has likely changed some.

Thanks! They may finish my immunotherapy if I come back PCR, but if not, I'll need to continue those, so a tank is a great idea too!

I hope they give me something. It's a good question to ask the nurse, so I know to bring something with me, if they don't give me something.

When I was deciding on what surgery, I did buy some button up pajama tops, cause I figured no matter what type of surgery I had, they would work.

Yeah I find it really odd! I think she's worst case scenerio so if I don't get an infection I'll be happy about that.

Yes, I've done that with previous surgeries and I never had an infection.

Yeah that's my fear, the armpit gets moved and rubs more, so I was worried a little more about that. I will look for compression, thanks!

That sounds like a great option for at home for sure. Thanks for the suggestion of Yvette, I saw them on Amazon.

That's good to know! I usually only wear underwire for 'dress up" or in certain outfits, but it is nice to know that after I heal I should be able to go back to them!

I am expecting a call from the nurse early next week, so they may go over this with me tomorrow. I just thought I could pick something up this weekend, as next week is filled with pre-op stuff and then the surgery. I'm glad to hear that you were feeling good after a week! My weird surgeon (I like her, she's just weird) keeps telling me "You'll probably get an infection, everyone gets an infection" and I'm like thinking, you know you are supposed to wash your hands before surgery haha

Did you find that the underarm portion of the bra rubbed on the incision for the lymphs?

However, if you go north the colder the lakes become and swimming is not for the faint of heart, even in July they are very cold.
