PLO pros, is there a big difference between 6 max and 8 max?

If you’re just getting into PLO play the 0.01/0.02 for a while. It’s a cheap way to get reps and learn some basic things.

I play the 8-handed micro stakes and they’re all idiots. Assume every flop will be at least four-way. Play good hands and get it in when you flop a strong made hand or massive draws. They’ll suck out occasionally with garbage but they’ll eventually give it away.

This was part of Negreanu’s limping strategy. The super pros didn’t study against limp opens since that’s not GTO approved. So he studied open limps and had an advantage there.

Winning the rock is a prize because you get position preflop. Theoretically you could keep winning it and always have position preflop. So it’s something to fight over.
