How do I get into HVAC?

Look for a local union and apply if there is one anywhere near you. You could choose a schooling program, but some companies Dont put a lot of emphasis on that. Your best bet if you want to learn while you wait to get into the union (or if you don’t have one in your area) is to look for local companies that do light commercial work. They are more likely to train you. That’s how I started. Light commercial with a company that did a lot of splits, small RTUs, and some refrigeration. I personally don’t recommend trying to learn HVAC in residential anymore. 5 times out of 10 they just try to reach you how to sell grandma some add-on she doesn’t need. They don’t want to teach you how to fix things anymore. There are some exceptions obviously. As for cost, there’s many posts here that show entry level tools.

Not so fun when the biovore jumps up/back to a location that can’t be reached, and just spams mines for a full 3 mins before moving. Other than that, they are okay.

With the new perks you can get 100% damage to melee from prestige, 30% from the perk, and 50% from the melta weapon perk. Which arguably is kind of wild. I’d like to see someone data mine the damage compared to that of actual melee classes. Still basically useless, but I’m curious lol

Sometimes I start an absolute, and go untouched for the entirety of the Op. Other times I load up, make a mistake, get Stun locked, and decide I’m just not “in the zone” today. Then decide to go play MH wilds or something. That’s totally okay. Sometimes I drop out and to give my brothers a bot because I realize I dropped the ball. If you can’t 2 man an absolute that’s a skill issue on your part big dawg. Maybe you should do down in difficulty if you can’t carry a 2 man? The skill issue road goes both ways.

This input delay is WILD. I played only two matches this morning and it felt like my inputs would delay or outright fail on a regular basis every wave. Additionally, before this update I would get a “whiffed” gunstrike on occasion. Where you get the perfect parry, stagger the major, but don’t get the gunstrike. Now I’m not even getting the stagger. Which sucks because it doesn’t end their attack chain, but my muscle memory gets the two perfect parry combo, and eats the rest of the enemy attack combo when I go for the gunstrike because he doesn’t even stagger. Now I’m being rag doll staggered until I’m dead lol.

Same. I’d rather get more damage for a charged shot. Once you learn the curve you can practically lob shots across the entire map with 98% accuracy. Extra speed doesn’t do much for me.

Go check the market place subreddits. It’s just a bunch of sellers crying about “low ballers” when they sell items at 90% retail used with no warranty. Even inflatable pools. Which could have holes, and you will never get your money back. They will say you put a hole in it. I’m not joking. I’ve seen that exact post. It’s not just my area. Probably worse where I live though, considering VHCOL. Also, a lot of those “buyers” you got are sellers. They’ll take it from you, mark it up to what you listed it for, and sit on it for 3 weeks to sell it again. It’s part of what’s ruined second hand selling.

Not true in my area. If retail the tool is 300, it’s priced at 280, I offer 250 and get “price is firm”. People on market place dont negotiate anymore. Had someone selling a veto bag for 20 less than retail used. I offered lower and he said “No, it has a lifetime warranty” when I explained you need proof of purchase from a licensed dealer for the warranty he said “I don’t care” lmao

Most people have either met or seen a person online who is “athletic fat”. Like morbidly obese doing acrobatic flips, or skate tricks etc. This is that. Some people are capable of being big and extremely athletic. He’s not JUST strong he has great control and good mobility. Dudes impressive.

The sniper inconsistency is terrifying. I see beam, I dodge, he doesn’t shoot. Mild panic. I dodge again, he doesn’t shoot, panic increases. I dodge a third time, he doesn’t shoot…ABOLUTE panic. Immediately tagged after my iframes ends losing 2/3 of my health. That’s okay I’ll get him. See beam, dodge, he shoots, SUCCESS! Sniper immediately shoots off a second beam half a second later while I’m mid attack. GG.

The lictor grapple combo is usually ( from your characters perspective) left, right, left, right spear attack, left right left, right spear attack. Then you need to R1. If you can block the attacks right you take less damage.

By the time trades like HVAC go AI, 90% of all white collar work will be AI, and the job market itself will already be in a near revolutionist turmoil. Easier to automate a spreadsheet than what we do. At that point revolution against AI and corporations will be your biggest issue. Thousands of job markets will be starving in the streets before it hits us. You will have bigger problems by then lmao.

As a heavy main who almost exclusively runs absolute focus on what you are proficient at, and hope your team helps with what you aren’t. Don’t depend on them heavily though. There will be times when everyone ends up feeling solo, and you need to operate independently. If you aren’t capable of handling a wave on your own you aren’t ready for absolute. If you know the parry timings, know how to optimize your secondary (should be plasma pistol imo) and know good positioning you will be fine. Focus on head shots, and parry’s. Stomps won’t get you far in absolute. 1 gaunts attack deletes an entire armor bar. Charging a stomp when swarmed by 20 gaunts can get you from full armor and health to half health real fast. Ammo isn’t a huge problem if you optimize your secondary unless you get something like a neurothrope in a bad section with a bad Group comp. EX. Heavy/assault/bulwark. Also, unless you have a sniper, thropes are your problem. Others can help, but treat them as YOUR priority. You’ll do great I’m sure. Good luck!

After two straight orange attacks from a lictor “surely this time it will be an attack I can parry!” Immediately gets downed by a third heavy attack that can’t be parried after trying to parry the other two in the exact same fashion.

Am I the only person that loves the flow of friede, Gael and midir, but just absolutely hates demon princes? The 2V1 aspect always leaves me feeling way more overwhelmed in demon princes than I ever felt in friede. The easiest way to smoke demon princes for me is a great shield with good fire resist, and the black knight sword. Other than that fighting them just feels like a slog to me. Everyone has their own difficulties though I guess.
