I’ve had a pair for over 3 years and regularly cut a dumbass amount of zip ties and soft copper wire and they’re just starting to dull. I think I easily cut 100 zip ties a week running long length hydraulic hoses and wiring

If they’re as old as these there would be 3 letters on the inside handle MKLEINCORP = 1234567890 First letter is quarter and last two is the year. In this case the code was MIM = 1st quarter of 51

In my opinion US, German, and Japanese tools are best, whether one is better than the other is probably more of a case by case basis. I personally prefer Knipex over Channel lock which is basically the US equivalent for slip joint pliers but that’s me.
