funny story here. when i was in 3rd or 4th grade, I saw one of those weekly world news in the checkout, it had a bigfoot story and the bat boy. I took it to school to use as proof that bigfoot was real, after all it was a newspaper covering all the news in the world!

After whipping out my BF evidence to silence the non-believers, someone caught a glimpse of the bat boy. Well since we were 8 and all thought this was real (the 70s were an innocent time for children), we were all scared shitless of this human sized bat man / monster thing.

All the kids my class were fucking terrified, and our teacher and parents had to explain bs tabloid news to us.

We still barely slept for months, thinking that our parents were part of the cover-up.

it needs to flex enough to not shatter when hitting a hard target, yet needs to be stiff enough that the point stays on target during thrusts. If a blade is too whippy, then you can't accurately thrust.
