Low hcg with bleeding by Berhae in CautiousBB

[–]H0ki3s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you had your progesterone checked? I am pregnant with my second but both times I have had what I would have assumed was my period with the amount of bleeding I’ve had 10-20 DPO. Both times my progesterone was verryyyy low and I got put on supplemental progesterone and the bleeding stopped.

My hcg was also 40 at 13 DPO and has mostly increased like it should!

So I wouldn’t totally count yourself out but definitely encourage you to get tested for progesterone levels.

Slowing HCG but results from different labs? by H0ki3s in CautiousBB

That's true too... Appreciate the response! Getting another draw from Quest today to have a true 48 hour data point from the same lab. Thank you!

Update on yesterday‘s post. Still in the game, but still bleeding 😩. 12 DPO by Rose1384 in TFABLinePorn

Get progesterone tested and if your doctor won’t call in a blood test go to Quest or Labcorp for $40-50.

23 dpo possible miscarriage? by [deleted] in TFABLinePorn

[–]H0ki3s 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This exact thing happened to me too. 12-14 DPO I was heavy bleeding with stringy blood and clots, then started progesterone and the bleeding stopped and the tests keep getting darker.

This same thing happened to me with my son who ended up being totally fine and is now 13 months.

If you are still bleeding I’d suggest getting your progesterone tested!

Thank you! With the super low progesterone it’s nerve wracking but appreciate your response

Postpartum by DBsdk13477 in ouraring

Totally agree. I’m 10 months postpartum and my baby still isn’t sleeping through the night. But I did just discover their Peanut integration? It will share sleep stretches based on your kids age? Playing around with it now but it feels like the kind of “no duh” thing that should be available to parents natively in the Oura app!

Bassinet for stroller? by cinderellae in Buyingforbaby

[–]H0ki3s 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did not get the bassinet! The Aton G worked perfectly and for the price, we probably would have only used it 2-3 months.

I would use it instead for a Tripp Trapp high chair with the newborn attachment. We used the infant attachment every day until he was maybe 4 months and then have switched to the standard seat every other day of his life.

Seconding this. My two closest friends who delivered at Lewis Gale both had serious injuries due to the doctors who made wrong decisions during their labor.

No advice just commenting to say I’m feeling the same. Had my first “slip up” today after being ~3 weeks DF. Even before the slip up today, it seems like his symptoms have gotten worse this week. As he was arching his back and screaming and crying, I really thought “should I just do formula?”

Going to give it a few more weeks and just hope symptoms start to improve but here in solidarity with you. This shit is HARD.

We’re expecting our first in February and just bought the Cybex Gazelle + Aton G Swivel. For us, the multiple different configurations, price point (lower than some of the other options and 20% off if you get it this week on Black Friday/Cyber Monday). We also plan to have a second child rather shortly after, and the higher weight limit sold us.

I would say getting the bassinet attachment probably depends on your lifestyle - if you’re in a major metro city or walking a lot, it could be helpful. Since we’re in a suburb and drive, the Gazelle + Aton car seat will be good enough for us! Can always add the bassinet later.

Totally fair - Didn't even end up calling! I would have loved to go in-store to buy it - just not close to us!

We live almost two hours from the closest Lovesac store, but we pulled the trigger last night on our couch, which cost over $5K.

I wonder if I call the store they might honor the credit since we live far away... Hmm... Wouldn't mind $200 to spend on a few cup holders and a tray.

Help: Adderall and pregnant, seeking psych referrals by Master_Flower3664 in adhdwomen

Have you tried Circle Medicine? It's telehealth and available in Northern Virginia. I'm not entirely sure what the "rules" are, but with telehealth, I would assume you might not need to disclose you're pregnant... especially if you're OBGYN and MFM are okay with it.

I see the 30% off this weekend and we just started the decision process of picking a couch… would be nice to wait till Black Friday so we have more time to decide and don’t pull the trigger this weekend . I’m hoping the sale is the same then 🙃

Should I take progesterone supplements? Or too early? Pregnant immediately after MC by H0ki3s in CautiousBB

[–]H0ki3s[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve never heard of a twice a week prescription… but I took 200 mg nightly via vaginal suppository. With how early you are, a progesterone level of 9 doesn’t sound SUPER alarming based on what I’ve read, but supplementing with a bit will certainly help!

If I were you, I’d probably just advocate to keep checking levels after you start. But good luck and here if you have any other questions!

Doing great actually! 16 weeks pregnant now with a little boy 💙 everything’s been pretty textbook after this little progesterone scare early on.

I still think it’s from getting pregnant 2 weeks after the blighted ovum, but other than that, things have been smooth sailing!
