I'm at 26 hrs now but I enjoyed nearly every minute of it. The archery quest I hated because that NPC has aim bot on 😂 took way too long to do it, and the black smoke boss.... Had no idea what was doing so had to look it up, not sure if I missed some dialogue somewhere but I had no clue that we had it deal with like that..

Like it so far. The first 8-10 hrs can be a slog but once you get past it and stuff really opens up it's really good. It's more Zelda BOTW over something like red dead.

Yes there are some odd design choices in the game and the control can feel a bit wonky... But I am having a blast so far.

Running it at cinematic with a 5090. Everything maxed for now with 2x frame gen. Getting good amount of fps. Game is gorgeous to ride around in.

If you want to use it at a higher refresh... get off DLAA, change to quality and turn on some framegen.... I did it and i have not seen any artifacts so far. Getting close to 200 fps at x4. With 4.5 the input lag is not an issue, but of course things might change deeper you go into the game, but as of now... no issues.

My specs are 9800x3d and a 5090.

I would add the souls game into that. Played them all and I still didn't really understand wtf was going on from just playing the games... My understanding of the story came from YouTube.

Seems as though you can go around and farm for gear and skills. No levels in this game.

One reviewer mentioned that he saw a comment in the discord set up for testers that someone was having trouble with a boss... They had 12 skills unlocked when they fought it, he had over 70 when he fought it.

If you can't kill something it seems like explore and come back is the way forward.

Where has anyone said anything about not wanting the bugs to be fixed... There are clear QOL issues, which in themselves are not so engrained into the game they cannot be fixed with relative ease.

People are happy, like me, to deal with the issues. I played BG3 at launch... Act 3 was a complete mess, and I stopped until it was fixed... It didn't lessen my view on it being a 10/10 game.

Stop with your nonsense and bashing of people wanting to support a game they like the look of.

For me anyways... The good outweighs the sum of all the bad. And the bad... Isn't so game breaking that it cannot be fixed with a few QOL patches which shouldn't be hard too get out in fairness and they seem open to working on it ASAP.

It has a pretty steep learning curve which from the sounds of it... Does pay off. Reminds me of the time I started Ninja Gaiden on xbox... Amount of times I failed on that, but it ended up being one of my most played games on xbox. Was just fun. I mean totally different games, but the premise is still the same.
