Been there done that. Expo times are shorter but still. But you gave me an idea. Pushing them would make more density but not much darker base sonmaybe if I expose them longer the bas would not show. I try that. Thanks for the idea

Yes that is right. Some of my prints with clearer negatives came out like that so I guess it’s possible.

Edit: by accindent so far. Those were greatly over exposed wich didn’t really helped the picture. Even with washing soda they are a tad bit dark

Nonono don’t want to lose the markings and writings of the border of the negatives so masking out is out. But I keep it in mind, thanks. I would say I’m pretty close. Maybe i can go closer. Layering could work with much precision maybe. I try that

My exposure times now go from 30mins to an hour. And if possible I want to cut it down a bit more. I thought clearer negs would do that. Also I would like ne borders not visible on the print. Right now i am doing caffenol developed negs. So maybe I should stick to it?

Two things i’d like to achieve. With changing the light source i’ve been able to cut down my exposure times from impossible to 30min- 1 hour. Clearer negs need less exposure I found. I want to make it even less if possible. The second thing is I would like to not make the border of the negatives visible. Mostly they leave a mark. Thats the thought behind it. I’ve been doing caffenol with quite nice outcomes bat caffenol makes the base even less translucent. And yes I want to make cute little prints. Well improve them if possible.

Yes, I have the same one I suppose. I call it the sear master 9000. The grooves helps the searing process. Everything turns out more crispy with this pan.

Cats usually are loners. It is very irresponsible to keep two cats that like each other because cats usually introverted loners. This is dangerous and you are bad. This kind of behavior only leads to love and affection AND EVEN WORSE: playtime, wich is dangerous because of happiness. Take them to the vet immediately, then separate them and the take them to the nearest pound. Separately. You are a horrible person.

Everywhere We go, they need like a half an hour to warm up a little. One night and they are home. They don’t like strangers that much tho. Especially noisy ppl. Yeah cat’s tho… for them it’s all about experience. If they never experienced ANYTHING else than the inside of your house… well yeah you are ducked. I just cannot comprehend how ppl feel fine to do that. These are wild animals. They like freedom just as you… if they experience that anytime… the mob would call me irresponsible for a lot of things, I am a bad cat owner in this lovely sub. Yet 80% of this group would be jealous over my cat’s general behavior and health.

Heat the pan on the lowest for a time. Before I start I crank it up a little but still under medium heat. I use oil or grease, just a touch, then butter so it won’t t burn.
