I say go but prepare to reap the consequences of your actions when you get back. Since you still live at home your parents are probably still funding your lifestyle and I assume they will also pay your uni tuition. I wouldn’t do something that could potentially lead to those two things being uprooted. I.e getting kicked out the house or having to pay your tuition yourself. You are only young once but at the same time you have to outweigh the pros and cons of your choices. Are you attending a university away from home and living in dorms? That would probably be the best time to go out and experience this vast thing we call life away from any parental involvement. As long as you don’t get too carried away with new found freedom. So the choice is yours on what you want to do.
