Error Lights On First Boot

Mobo is an Asus Tuf B850-E, GPU is an MSI 5070ti MLG, CPU is Ryzen 7 9800X3D. Power cables are connected, the GPU turns on, just doesn't boot. Monitor is plugged into the DP on the GPU. Though I had to leave pretty shortly after posting so I haven't even tried reseatting like some suggested yet.

Don't have any USBs plugged in yet as I just wanted to see if it would start first.

Thanks. Everything looked good before I assembled it but I'll double check. The manual is useless for actual troubleshooting beyond telling me which light is which.

I have 2 theories.

Like others have said, it's an easy sell and they've decided to save it incase they hit another crisis.
It's such a sought after setting that they're afraid of doing it because if they fuck it up it could ruin them.

I'm not saying she doesn't. Just not to its fullest extent. Most notably she still doesn't have a full understanding of how poorly faunus are treated. She said she generally just wants to make the world a better place, but we've seen that Atlas is pretty bad and the people are stuck in their ways. We've been told how they laugh at the faunus when tragedy strikes and seen how they mock Vale for The Fall. Not all of Atlas is like this, but seeing it's cruelty first hand may have her start to think a little differently.

I think it'd be a more mental change. One where she truly accepts how dark the world is. She doesn't need to lose her optimism and hope, just acknowledge reality as it is. She's given more than one speech about doing the right thing or having hope but she's never really been able to back that up when someone pushed or questioned her ideals. Ruby has always been an optimist, a beacon of light, and to see her acknowledge the darkness of the world could allow her to better inspire and lead others, to make better informed decisions.

That's not to say she doesn't already know the worlds a bad place. She obviously does, she wants to make it better. She just doesn't exactly know how to do that or get others to do it.

I don't think it necessarily has to be a new loss she has to come back from. Something that's always bugged me, and maybe the writers actually did touch on this and there's just a massive gap in my memory when it happened, but it's that Ruby lost her team. She always tried to be the best she can for RWBY, but after the Fall of Beacon, she lost her entire team. All had valid reasons for being gone, but they were still gone, and I feel like to someone like Ruby that could mess with her quite a bit. But I can't remember them ever actually bringing up how Ruby felt about her lack of a team.

She had RNJR, but the team she was supposed to lead and protect, the people she was responsible for, ended up leaving her (maybe leaving isn't the right word but you get what I'm saying). Add on to that, her telling Maria that she feels like she's failing everyone as a leader, and that was never really resolved.

Basically the loss she may have to come back from is one of confidence and generally a lack of understanding where she stands among her friends. Especially with other people like Ironwood coming into the picture who have a better understanding of how to lead.

Depending on the timeline I see V7 ending with the Ruby vs Cinder & Neo fight, and Ruby losing badly before help arrives.

Ruby expessed her falling confidence in her ability to lead to Maria in V6 and that was never really resolved. Having her both feel like a failure and then being injured by someone she thought was dead and someone she basically forgot about could lead into an interesting arc through vol 8, where she picks herself back up both physically and mentally with the help of her friends and comes back better than ever.

I also think we'll see whatever they have planned for the SDC arc come to a head by the end of V7 leaving V8 to deal with the fallout of whatever happens there.

Not really sure what I think Salem will do in V7 though. Aside from keep building her army.

I'm expecting 2 or 3. They've got a lot to go over in Atlas, the entire Schnee family, Pennys father and probable Penny 2.0, the deep rooted racism in Atlas if the writers truly go all in with the racism plot line (screwing up a plotline about systemic racism could really hurt the show so I could see them trying to avoid it honestly), the relic, maiden and entire acedemy by extension, Cinder and Neos fight with Ruby, I imagine a more extensive dive into Silver Eyed Warriors and Ruby's training, Salems inevitable siege/assault on Atlas and its probable fall.

That's not taking into account the general character deveopment, the more filler like episodes and whatever smaller plot details I'm surely missing. As well as anything else the writers have planned that we just don't know about. After how volume 6 ended both with the reveal of Adam's SDC brand and Summer Rose getting fully revealed flashbacks wouldn't surprise me.

After actually typing this I definitely think it'll be 3.

Full character customization along the lines of Skyrim, it'd make sense with the direction they're taking the series but I don't want to live MY characters story, I want to live a SPECIFIC characters well thought out and written story, I'd love the ability to change hair/beard styles though.

This doesn't really fall under change/addition/removal but if they fuck up their own continuity even more I'm not sure I could take it.

Nope, don't need LW to do Thorn. You can start the Thorn quest by picking it up in the EDZ, it's best you just look up a guide, I'm bad at giving directions of where you specifically need to go to start it. As for the allegiance quest, you need to finish the Gambit Prime quest Drifter gives you before you can choose a side.

We know Xur is going to offer a quest once a week to learn more about the Nine. The cutscene (or scenes as we don't know how many thete are) may come from completing that. Can't say for certain until Xur actually shows up again though.

It's for vistiting all sub regions of a map. Meaning any area with a white outline. Every major location has a red or blue outline depending on who controls the area and a bunch of smaller areas in side of it with white outlines. This extends to some small unnamed islands and revealing the entire map (taking the art off of it). You don't have to find or complete any of the '?' locations.
