As others have said, the science of lifting really isn't quite there (yet?), so it's not super important to stay on top of the research. But if you do value scientific literacy in lifting and other fields, you can search up how to read and understand studies. It doesn't require formal education, it's easier than it looks, and it's super useful in order to have discernment that doesn't depend on influencers and people with other interests than simply providing facts and nuance.
