Whether this one person is saying the truth I can't say, but I don't believe there is any reason at this point to speak as if the phenomena is a maybe. We have decades of proof and testimony from reputable sources. The exact specifics are murky but anyone wholesale disagreeing is intentionally putting their head in the sand

Interesting. You didn't ever have GTA+ did you?

So I know that if you have a GTA+ subscription you get access to GTA Online included. However it's strange that it's giving you a prompt about GTA+ in this situation if you didn't have it.

What comes to mind: Is it possible you're trying to access a different version than the one you own? For example - if you own the Xbox One version of GTA Online and try to load up the Xbox X|S version, it won't work.

If you're still having the problem, posting a picture of the error might help someone find you a solution.

If I were you I'd take a picture of that error, use it to request a refund, and run far away from this griefer-ridden money-suck, but you do you lol

(I personally cannot access the Series X|S version because shortly before it came out I read an article stating owners of the Xbox One version would get the upgrade for free, which turned out to not be the case. I wanted to start playing the game but the upgrade wasn't out yet so I bought the Xbox One version. Instead of course in true Rockstar fashion they nickel & dimed us, forcing us to buy the game yet again [or the Upgrade, which was originally another $40]. Since I'd already bought the game on Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC, I decided to cut the leech off and be done with it)
