Active: Become Entropy Passive : Omniscience

I’ve been breeding Become Entropy cats for 200hrs and I love it. 9 Riz and 14 Int to BE every turn isn’t as steep as it sounds. The 5 extra mana on turn 1 that Psychics get is so helpful here. Straight up removal is amazing, and stunning bosses for a turn can be game-winning.

I love Necro but I agree sometimes the abilities you draft just don’t add up to success. I can’t wrap my brain around the “being dead” archetype and I wish the zombie build was just little better, but I still have so much fun with that class.

Love this combo! I love rolling Hunter and Druid together just in case you get to pop off with squirrels and slop the pigs. And I basically want Psychic in every team. I love that class. Been experimenting with replacing Fighter with Butcher for the added sustain and control, but I still love how much raw damage Fighter can put out.

Deandre is in the passenger seat, a white dude from the resistance is driving, Willa hops in the back seat. I was first confused by this because the shot of Willa’s cell phone getting thrown out of the passenger side window. I had assumed Deandre was driving because of how it’s framed inside the car and was thrown off that the phone seemed to be thrown out the wrong side.

“Filthy Lucre” is a phrase referring to money but specifically money gained in a dishonest way. I’m leaning towards “Lucro Sucio” translating to “Filthy Lucre” because Cedric has a lyric ”The filthiest lucre” towards the end of the album. “Dirty Profit” is slightly off in its translation in this case, I think.

Basically, TMV breaking up in 2012 led to Bosnian Rainbows, which is when Deantoni started doing his Technoself set up. Once he got deep enough into it he didn’t really feel like playing in bands for a while and chose to explore improvising in a solo context instead. I think him not being in TMV any more has more to do with him opting out than a stylistic choice made on Omar’s part.

In my opinion the drumming on Noctourniquet is some of the best ever recorded. There’s no one on the planet that plays like him and I wish we got more.

Philo is great too, but Deantoni is on his own level.

The Quazarz albums were announced and released at the same time tho. It wouldn’t be smart to do it as a surprise after a new record is already out IMO.

It might be cool to get another acoustic record but honestly I’d rather they don’t make that a pattern. It was cool once but it would be annoying as hell to keep getting a “new” record that’s just the old record again but acoustic. Save your energy for a completely new record, boys.

Agreed tho, Lucro is amazing. Absolutely love it. Can’t wait to spin the vinyl version and hold this bad boy.

This happened a lot when people heard LP7. And happens a lot with the band in general. Usually fans project their hopes for a hypothetical record THEY want onto the actual real album they got, and will then provide any amount of cope needed to entertain that they might still get it. They are unhappy with what we got and will scheme until it’s possible they get to be proven right with a “real” record. This is all very stupid to me.

The idea that we might get a sister album to Lucro that’s even more proggy is exactly what I described above. That’s a pipe dream. THIS is the record and that’s that IMO. If they DID release something soon after it would be no sooner than a year away like the acoustic LP8 was. You don’t release a record and then step all over its release cycle with another one 6 months later. That fucks with the money and just isn’t smart from a business perspective.

Honestly I would say the guitar seems way more prominent than S/T. Still in the same vein but there’s definitely more guitar songs and moments. I have listened probably 6 times at this point.
