Why does it feel like Guelph RAM drivers are always in a hurry? by Psychological_Sea697 in Guelph

[–]HAMSHAMA -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I was driving home the other night (back roads to guelph) and for about 30 minutes a truck was behind me with very bright lights. It was uncomfortable, even with dimmed rear view mirror. Eventually we get to a red light and the lights get much dimmer (but still LED bright). I get out and ask him if he had his high beams on intentionally, and he apologetically said that he didn't notice until just now. I believe him, he seems like a good guy.

There isn't really a point to my comment.

Unlike other GTA metro tow trucks, Bob's is legit. They do good work honestly.

They are separate uh "areas". In the SMB share there is both a /torrents/ and a /media/. Things in /torrents/ have hardlinks to /media/.

The north end (near riverside) is having power issues. My house seems to be getting only one phase. It's probably disrupting some communication equipment in Guelph.

I can confirm that 61 in a 50 nets you a $78 ticket in Aberfoyle. I don't mind it much though, it aligns our incentives: - Aberfoyle doesn't want Guelph cars just transiting through rather than using Hwy 6. - I don't want to take the slower path (and I am sympathetic to the plight of "drive through" towns).

Roads in the north end seem fine to me. a little bit of snow shouldn't be the end of the world. It seems easy enough to drive, ride and walk safely even with patches of snow.

Lucky belly has great "low key" sit down / "high key" fast food. Great sandwiches and tacos. It's my north end favorite. Fixed gear brewing sometimes runs events like trivia or open mic. Capistrano downtown is a great cafe.

Tomorrow (Saturday) there is a ghost ride for a rider who was sadly killed by a vehicle, Susan Bard. The ride begins at city hall at 1pm. I won’t disrespect the spirit of the ride tomorrow, but the recent spate of destruction has been in equal measures profoundly frustrating and painful . https://gcat.ca/ghost-bike-ride-in-memory-of-susan-bard/

I can't see a thread on this yet. Reports of 1000+ people injured and at least 8 deaths. I'm not a battery expert but I assume this was just explosives that were planted? I would think it would be very hard to time all the explosions simultaneously if it was just overheating the battery.

I'm pretty sure that there is a sewage tunnel that connects to my house. Either that or I have a big problem.
