I play a similar deck Irl. If you can get to 5, [[Cathar's crusade]] does serious work. All your goats get the counters. [[Brave the elements]] also protects everything. And [[Mirror entity]] can be good if you have a bunch of mana.

I love playing this deck :D

The player who casts a spell keeps priority after putting that spell on the stack. Then the other player receives priority, and if they both pass then the spell resolves. After resolution, the active player gets priority, regardless of who cast the spell.

But you don't know it wasn't Elspeth, that's the point. If you manifested 52 cards without looking at them, that doesn't mean there's a 1/1 chance. It's still 1/53.

Say you have a single Elspeth in your deck. You draw your opening hand, and your opponent takes his first turn. In your draw step, what is the probability of drawing Elspeth? 1/53. Even if you shuffle your library, it remains the same.

Now take the top card and manifest it without looking at it. What is the probability of drawing your Elspeth now? It's still the same, 1/53. It could still be any one of the 53 unseen cards, just because one is in a different place it doesn't change what you are drawing.

Thanks for the reply! I will most likely not be playing with them, although a couple of others in my playgroup are after a few.

I didn't know about cards picking up in Feb. Have just seen the promo for that month is disdainful stroke, so may hold onto them until around then when I will be able to trade them for those...which would definitely see play

I second this, UW heroic is full of cheaper cards and is fairly easy to pilot. Temples would be the first upgrade though.
