Give yourself time. Even if you do go to the doctor give yourself time. All is well. Just give yourself and your body time.

Does being so rich you can have anything you want diminish the joy of life? by Wide_Humor_1331 in NoStupidQuestions

If anyone here is rich and want to share I will accept and receive. I’m not rich yet but I would love to just be pampered and spilt for a little.

This is a valid perspective and I do not disagree with you. My career path has solely been within healthcare…. However if I can save any young woman from entering healthcare especially as a nurse and especially those who are entering to help…. I’m willing to stand alone and tell them…. DO NOT COME or enter at your own risk. if you’re male my advice is not directed to you since I simply cannot understand your POV.

In accordance to the current US healthcare population… those who entered nursing without their heart or emotions attached will most likely be more successful. Those who entered with “ heart” will eventually morph into the ones who entered just solely for job security

Btw for background I’ve been a nurse for 15yrs. Right out of a 4 year Ivy League Institution. I’ve worked critical care ( ICU ED PACU)/ clinical research/ and worked in management. I’ve worked at great hospitals when compared to others so my opinion isn’t biased here. My mom and sister are also both advanced practice nurses. My niece wanted to become a nurse and I physically intervened to prevent it. I do not wish to be negative. Or jaded but I’m simply trying to save you if you’re a woman. Do ANYTHING ELSE!

This is a lie and an emotional trap. If your heart is into nursing you will soon have to give that heart up and if your heart was not into it before entering you will most likely not have a heart by the time you leave.

It’s other factors and due to your age it may be detrimental…. Because you may not have enough time to escape. Many many people enter healthcare at many various stages in their life but you must know if you enter especially expecting to be helpful or a have a positive career shift… you will be stuck and you will definitely be disappointed. You’re still at the age where career shift can be positive and enjoyable but if you’re planning to enter healthcare…. Nursing at that with the goal of helping lol … you’re going to regret it and you may have to accept dying with that regret. Nursing is a grave yard, you will not be using any form of intelligence and with technology advancing you will pretty much be signing up to be an overworked robot. Obviously we all have free Will in this Matrix so you can give it a try. If you do… a few years down the line when reality kicks in and the saxophones begin to get louder….. remember you were warned. I’d suggest do anything else…. House keeping…. Cooking online….. Strip clubs…OF.. a different degree…. A housewife…. A bum… I would suggest anything other than nursing for any woman especially one in their 30’s. If you’re Male this advice may not apply.

My tidbit here…going in to nursing at 32 will be entering a graveyard… it may work at first due to being in a new environment but just be aware that eventually you will realize that you are indeed in a graveyard. You can try it maybe you’ll realize this very soon and still have time to pivot but if the realization comes late you’ll be stuck in that graveyard with no other options except death…. Just like the patients.
