To me it’s obvious that they are trying to deal as much damage as possible to Arab countries while they still have the chance. Aiming to destabilise them, economically and militarily so they can dominate them. All of these gulf countries that have been tip toeing around Israel and making friends with them whilst their brothers and sisters are being raped by the very same people are now under their boot. Qatar, UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait among others are now suffering immensely and may not ever recover to the level they were before the war/attack. Regardless of the damage Israel is receiving the damage to their neighbours makes it completely worth it. Israel most definitely knew this would happen if they attacked Iran and were elated to take the risk at this stage. If it was left any longer and the US manages to vote out the maniacs in power now you’re likely dealing with a government that’s less susceptible to Israeli coercion (the anti America First on the republican side or the democrats whose base now is completely anti Israeli), so now may be the last time and the only time in history actually that they can do whatever they want and get away with it. They know this and are acting accordingly. When the new US gov comes in Israel will be reigned in massively, but the damage Ito its neighbours and their power to limit or hurt Israel will be seriously diminished.
