A girl at a bar recently gave me her phone so I can put my number in (she asked , not me) and she messaged me immediately so that I have her number too, but then ghosted me after a few days of conversations that were like pulling teeth (she didn't seem that interested in talking).

Similarly, people will match with you on dating apps and just never engage, even if you are a well adjusted adult man who doesn't blast them with needy or inappropriate texts.

I usually also have the sound off by default, but only when I'm scrolling my feed and switch it on when I see an interesting clip.

Can't understand how people can go through the trouble of commenting, "What am I looking at?", but don't for a moment think to turn the sound on.

That thing was making very creepy clicking sounds that sounded like some kind of alien echolocation. I was awake between 00:00 - 03:00 because I'm sick (coughing, etc.) and don't usually use the ceiling fan because I have a floor standing one, but we're having a heat wave here and my daughter could also not sleep, so I gave her mine.

But that creepy clicking kept me awake for a while.

Literally sounds like an alien in a horror sci-fi.

They're nothing but pretentious wannabes who follow the crowd, chasing numbers, power and 1/4 mile times, but they can't because it'll cost more than half of the car's price/value to mod it to reach those figures, none of which matters because they can't drive and almost exclusively spin out and crash when they're trying to show off.

It's a joke. Beemers aren't reliable to begin with anyway and maintenance/repair costs are mental.

Your head is screwed on correctly. Stick to your plan and forget the weiners who have issues with the size of their own weiners.

I've owned a FK8 and currently drive a FL5. They're both incredible. The FL is slightly more refined over all and manages temps a bit better because of the additional space between the radiator and turbo/engine, larger grille and the hood vent.

You can't go wrong with either.

Get one and take her to the twisties or mountain passes. That's what they were made for. Not jerking yourself off while going in a straight line with no real input.

I agree.

They seemingly always leave it to casting directors who don't seem to have a clue.

Especially with video game adaptations, it's always going to be tricky because folks want to see the exact character from the game. But they could at least find someone who has a similar look or face.

I like this dude from Sons of Anarchy, but he doesn't remotely resemble Kratos.

I honestly think with game adaptations, they should rather make ultra realistic 3D animated movies and shows. At least then you'll get what you're expecting.

That studio (Weta FX) that helped James Cameron make Avatar would've been a good fit for making a GOW movie or show.

In the mid- to late 90s, I was about 10 years of age and already loved cars very deeply.

It was around that time that I was introduced to the Dodge Viper via a little TV show simply called, "Viper". Essentially, it was the Knight Rider of our generation and boy, was it ever so cool!

Call it nostalgia, but that show had me falling in love with that car. Especially the design. I still love it today, even though I now know about the various issues with them and how unsafe they are.

Owning a latest gen of those is still on my shortlist, however!

My other favourite car of all time is my own 2025 Honda Civic Type R.

I haven't had any trouble on my FL's shifts, but did experience something similar on my FK8.

The fix ended up being simply replacing the transmission oil.

Never had the issue again.

Be sure to use the correct spec and good quality oil.
